ST DUNSTAN’S COLLEGE HELP US SHAPE YOUNG LIVES
OUR THEATRE APPEAL
SUPPORT OUR PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE
S
t Dunstan’s has an impressive track record in staging inspiring and memorable live performances over its long history. Our Performing Arts Centre includes a theatre space to match up to the talent of our students. It was officially opened on 30 March 2022 by Dean Byfield and it has been designed to be used as flexibly as possible since then. Why not sponsor a seat in our theatre or become a performance sponsor? Maybe you too would like to celebrate your family’s part in the life of the school or perhaps mark your own passion for theatre and performance? The Theatre has been designed to be
used as flexibly as possible with its retractable 120 seats. By sponsoring a seat or becoming a performance sponsor, you will be supporting a first-class resource that will inspire and enthuse Dunstonian students for years to come. Our new theatre will also be a resource for professional, amateur and community groups, a hub for workshops, live-streaming and inspiring live shows. We need more funds towards the theatre’s lighting, staging and backstage areas such as make-up and costume. Whatever you choose, you can be sure that you will be playing your own part in ensuring that the performing arts at St Dunstan’s are state of the art.
There are several options to choose from: Seat Sponsors For a one off donation of £450, you will receive a personalised plaque in the lower half of the raked seating area, for total immersion during performances. For a one-off donation of £350, you will receive a personalised plaque in the upper half of the raked seating area, close to the tech deck area.
Performance Sponsors For donations of £500 and above, you could become a Performance Sponsor, with your gift supporting the lights and staging, or the makeup and costume dressing areas. Your name will apppear on the board outside the theatre.
Sponsors will receive: • A certificate of thanks from the Head • Regular invitations to VIP drinks before major performances at the College or major events such as Commemoration Day • Named listing in the College’s Chronicle, the bi-annual alumni magazine, The Notes and the annual Donors’ Impact Report A few things for seat sponsors to consider: • You supply the wording you require on the plaque, to a maximum of 40 characters. • Sponsoring a seat doesn’t guarantee sitting in that seat for each show. • Please note that some seats may be removed for shows, depending the configuration required for various performances • Please add Gift Aid so your support can go further towards the performing arts
