PROJECT 3 –The Sport and Leisure Centre

St Dunstan’s Sport and Leisure Centre
HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING A GIFT
The College is registered as a Charity under number 312747 and every contribution is meaningful, regardless of the amount. All donations will be used by St Dunstan’s to realise its charitable purpose.
You can give in a number of ways, either by making a single donation, or by considering a regular donation. You may also wish to consider leaving a gift in your Will, as a legacy.
MAKING A DONATION
SINGLE DONATION If you would like to make a single donation, you can do so by completion and return of the detachable form on page 15 of this brochure. Contributions can be made by cheque, electronic transfer or by debit or credit card. It is possible to stipulate the project for which you would like your contribution to benefit.
REGULAR DONATION If you would like to donate regularly, your contribution, added to others, makes a significant difference to the College. It also provides regular income that enables us to plan ahead and use your donations most efficiently. As a way of example, please find below a projection of what regular gifts can mean when considered together:
Number Giving Duration Benefit to the College of donors (including gift aid) 50 £20.21 monthly 2 years £37,315 100 £2,021 annually 2 years £505,250
EMPLOYEE MATCH FUNDING Many organisations offer match funding as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Programme. Some may match the amount you donate at an equal value and some may stipulate a value and a maximum amount. Why not ask your employer if they run a Match Funding Scheme?
MAKING A LEGACY
Some members of our wider community are at the stage in life when they begin to consider what their final legacy will be. Once family and friends are appropriately remembered, thoughts often turn to charities and institutions which figure prominently in a person’s life.
Pledging a legacy provides you with the chance to make a charitable gift in your Will which has no cost to you during your lifetime.
There are three main types of gifts you can make in your will: • Pecuniary gift is a straightforward way of giving a specified amount of money to St Dunstan’s College. • Specific non-monetary gift allows you to leave particular items or assets to the College, such as property, jewellery, works of art or other valuable items. • Residuary gift enables you to give to St Dunstan’s whatever remains of your estate after providing for your family and after meeting all debts and liabilities.
Acknowledging your gift
All gifts, large or small, are precious and will make a difference. Although we understand that you might like to remain anonymous, we would also like wherever possible to recognise your donation in a lasting way - from naming a seat in the Performing Arts Centre, to naming a new science lab in the STEM building, possibilities are endless and affordable for all.
