ANNUAL REPORT
Message from the Executive Director/CEO Wow, 2018 was a huge year! Because of your prayers and support, Relevant Radio® has grown 700% in seven years and now reaches more than 160,000,000 souls in the USA. One of the biggest highlights from 2018 was introducing the live broadcast of Family Rosary Across America®, heard every day at 7:00 pm central. The rosary, led by Fr. Dave Heney and prayed in unison with thousands of souls across America, along with the Memorare we pray on air every hour, is truly helping to transform the culture. According to a recent listener survey, 20% of those who responded claimed that Relevant Radio inspired them to return to Sunday Mass. This is very, very encouraging news! We still need your help, and we still need your prayers to make 2019 an even bigger year for reaching more souls! Can you imagine the impact we would have if we could double our size in English, and reach three hundred million Americans on Relevant Radio? Can you imagine if we could reach all the Catholics in the United States that speak Spanish? We currently have an extraordinarily fortunate opportunity to be able to buy AM stations at discount prices because our format of programming works so well on these talk stations. For example, we were recently able to acquire a station in our nation’s capital, Washington D.C. and now the Truth is on the air in one of the most powerful cities in the world! But there are other major cities still awaiting Catholic radio, and with station acquisitions in those areas, we’ll reach 100 million more souls. There is much to do, and we cannot delay one moment!! We need you now more than ever! Relevant Radio has come a long way as you can see in this Annual Report, but now is not the time to sit back and relax. The future of the nation is in our hands, and together, we can change the culture into one that respects life, beauty, truth, and goodness. The Family Rosary Across America® premiered across the Relevant Radio® network on January 15th. LIVE from Los Angeles, Fr. Dave Heney and co-host Karen Moran pray the Holy Rosary and take your prayer requests. Marching for Life, Coast to Coast
The pro-life movement was active in many events across the nation, and Relevant Radio was proud to sponsor and broadcast from several of them including marches in Chicago, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco, and more!

Becoming Closer to Christ at the Chicago Luncheon
On February 23rd, 400+ friends attended the Chicago Lenten Luncheon. The theme, passionately delivered by our very own Fr. Richard Simon, was “Becoming Closer to Christ through the Eucharist.”
Co-Branded Partnerships Reach New Levels and More Souls
This month, Relevant Radio sponsored/co-branded numerous Catholic events and conferences across the country in Phoenix, San Francisco, LA, Twin Cities, Chicago, Philadelphia, NY/NJ, Providence, San Diego, and more – reaching over 35,000 people at these events!
Record Breaking Christ Brings Hope Award Banquet in Twin Cities, MN
The Twin Cities set a record with over 900 attendees at the 7th Annual Christ Brings Hope Award Banquet honoring Gordon DeMarais, founder and president of Saint Paul’s Outreach, on April 20th.

Christ Brings Hope Award Dinner in Austin, TX Draws Attendance from 3 Bishops
Relevant Radio honored the Texas State Council Knights of Columbus with the Christ Brings Hope Award in Austin, TX. The event hosted over 300 attendees, plus 3 Bishops!

The Good News that Keeps on Growing
The nationwide reach of Relevant Radio is truly beautiful, and continues to grow. In May, the Presence Radio Network announced its decision to merge with Relevant Radio.
Walk to Mary Grows in Numbers, Attracts Over 2,100 Pilgrims
Relevant Radio sponsored the annual Walk to Mary. This 21-mile pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help drew a record number of pilgrims!
New Stations in Maine and Florida
The FCC approved the transfer of five radio stations in Maine from Presence Radio to Relevant Radio, as well as an FM station in Eustis, Florida near Orlando. “I loved the Rosary led by children that was aired on your station Sunday night, from the Presence radio station in Portland, Maine... it’s beautiful to hear the children recite the prayers.” - Diane, Portland, ME

On July 16th, Relevant Radio launched XDS systems, a highly anticipated engineering project that increases reliability, efficiency, and security across our network. 15 New Translators
The FCC approved over fifteen “FM translators” for our AM stations in major cities around the country.

On Air in Orlando, FL
Two new Relevant Radio stations —1080 AM in Orlando, Florida and 90.3 FM in Eustis, FL — began broadcasting on the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary!
Ember Days Devotion
This month, Relevant Radio began observing the Ember Days devotion, offering prayer and sacrifice for the healing of abuse victims and purification of the Church. Ember Days is an old tradition of fasting and prayer on the Ember Days: the Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday of four weeks on the liturgical calendar that correspond with the changing of the seasons. Christ Brings Hope Award Dinner Honors Shrine Founders and Pro-Life Groups
On October 12th, Drew Mariani, Father Simon, Sheila Liaugminas, and 400 others honored Frank and Shirley Schilling, founders of the Shrine of Christ’s Passion located in St. John, Indiana with the Christ Brings Hope Award. In addition, 10 pregnancy care centers were presented with the Caritas Dei Award for their common mission to serve women and provide hope and an alternative to abortion.

100 Million Memorares Prayed for an End to Abortion in America
This month, we hit a huge milestone and shared some exciting news – together, we prayed over 100,000,000 Memorares for an end to abortion in the United States! We look forward to continuing this journey as we work towards our new goal of 200 million Memorares!

New Station Reaches 7 Million More Souls on the East Coast
In November, the purchase of WVNJ 1160 AM in Oakland, New Jersey, was approved by the FCC, making it the 70th Owned and Operated Station and increased the Relevant Radio reach in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut by seven million people. Combined with stations in Los Angeles and Chicago, this acquisition strengthened our foothold in the three largest Catholic population centers in the country. Great Stories, Great Saints
For the Solemnity of All Saints on Thursday, November 1st, Relevant Radio broadcast a full day for Great Stories about Great Saints—inspiring stories and interviews about your favorite saints.
Christmas Family Rosary Novena, LIVE from NYC to LA!
Relevant Radio prepared for the birth of Christ with you by praying the 5th Annual Christmas Family Rosary Novena, LIVE and interactive each evening from December 1624. Fr. Dave Heney and Fr. Rocky led the Holy Rosary from our Los Angeles and Chicago studios, respectively, as we counted down the last days of Advent together.
