Relevant Radio station coming to Philadelphia! ®

Relevant Radio® has applied for approval from the FCC to purchase WWJZ 640 AM in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (closing of the purchase is subject to this approval). This addition to the Relevant Radio network would increase our potential listening audience on terrestrial stations to 58 million souls in 25 states.
“We give special thanks to God for the graces that came our way through the intercession of the Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph that made this deal possible,” said Fr. Rocky. “We are also grateful to Archbishop Chaput for his welcome. We hope our efforts may be a blessing to all souls in Philadelphia, the first Capital of our beloved country.”
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to acquire WWJZ 640 AM, reaching 8 million persons – 5 million of whom are not currently reached by other Catholic radio stations. If all goes well, we hope to be broadcasting in Philadelphia by the time Pope Francis arrives,” said Rev. Francis Hoffman, “Fr. Rocky”, Executive Director of Relevant Radio.

640 AM in Philadelphia will be one of 46 stations that broadcast Relevant Radio programming, 16 of which are owned and operated by our network. This kind of growth for Relevant Radio is a tremendous blessing and would not be possible without the support and prayers of our listeners and benefactors.
Relevant Radio Celebrates 15 Years, Serving the New Evangelization!
On Wednesday, July 22, Relevant Radio celebrated its 15th Anniversary with a Mass of Thankgiving and a Picnic Lunch at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, Wisconsin. The Most Rev. Robert Banks, Bishop Emeritus of Green Bay, celebrated the Mass and a meet and greet with Relevant Radio show hosts followed at the picnic. The event was open to the public and all were able to enjoy a picnic meal of hotdogs and hamburgers. It was a joyous celebration!
