The Principal, Mr Mark Bonnici, invites suitably qualified and experienced teachers to indicate their interest and willingness to fulfil this position.
The successful candidate will be a contemporary practitioner with qualifications and experience teaching Mathematics across Stages 4 – 6 with experience or willingness to participate in professional learning to be able to effectively teach HSC Mathematics Extension 1 and 2.
The successful applicant will work within a team of professional staff in a technologyrich learning environment. Applicants must be innovative and have demonstrable ICT skills, be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the community and be prepared to participate in the co-curricular life of the College.

Essential Criteria
The position requires a person who:
• Has an affinity with and appreciation for the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice and the EREA Charter Touchstones
• Demonstrates excellent knowledge and understanding of current curriculum developments, especially as they relate to Mathematics syllabus documents across Stages 4-6
• Can demonstrate the necessary knowledge, experience and qualifications to teach Stage 6 Mathematics
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff and make a positive contribution to innovative teaching within the Mathematics KLA
• Demonstrates competence and confidence in the effective use of technologies to enhance student learning in a one-to-one learning environment
• Can demonstrate an excellent understanding of contemporary educational research, including current pedagogical approaches to enhance student learning
• Demonstrates an ability to relate positively with students, staff and parents and a willingness to work in a collaborative team
• Ability and willingness to contribute to cocurricular activities.
Desirable Criteria
• Can demonstrate experience or a willingness to participate in professional learning to be able to effectively teach HSC Mathematics Extension 1 and 2.
Commencement Arrangement
The successful applicant will commence this permanent full-time position in January 2025.
