Celebrating 5 Years of Carport Innovation Five years ago this month, SteelMaster Buildings introduced its steel carport to the masses and in that time has revolutionized its applications in a way that is sure to change the building industry’s lexicon. “We began offering our carport due to the overwhelming request from our customers for a product that was as strong as our buildings but provided more of a traditional carport functionality,” says Michelle Wickum, the director of marketing for SteelMaster Buildings, which is located in Virginia Beach.

Steel Buildings Protect Excavation at Los Alamos As Los Alamos National Laboratory works to clean up waste disposal sites from the 1940s, they want to make sure the public is kept safe from radiological and chemical elements. SteelMaster Provides Storage for EOD Team SteelMaster Buildings has added another steel building to the landscape of Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base. The SModel 55′ x 90′ metal building is the fifth SteelMaster building that the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Team will be using for storage of their equipment and gear. The construction of the steel storage building has been very quick. The arches of the building were up in only two days! Read More>>>

SteelMaster Construction at Austin Animal Center According to the Austin Animal Center website, construction on its new campus “continues to take shape.” The new center features two SteelMaster steel buildings. One of the buildings is used as a roofing system over the main building. Construction of the quonset huts is complete and the remainder of the center remains on schedule to open in the fall.
