基地與下方的地下街與捷運龍山寺站相接，靠和平西 路及西園路的兩側設有公車站，地下街附屬的地下停 車場為附近最大的地下停車場，交通相當便利。 The site and the underground street below are connected to the MRT (Longshan Temple Station). SITE_PROBLEMS 1. The gathering of the homeless and nearby residents who gamble makes many people do not dare to go to Mengjia Park. 2. The armrests of the corridor seats make the seats lack of flexibility.
3. 突出的採光井為B1帶來良好的光線， 卻也造成公園和迴廊之間的光線受到阻擋。 3. The skylights provide good lighting to B1, but it also caused the light between the park and the corridor to be blocked.
4. B1/B2人潮不多，商家不願意進駐。 4. B1/B2 is not very crowded, vendors do not willing to rent this place.
5. 公園中央的廣場平時圍起， 造成空間的閒置與浪費。 5. The square in the middle of the park is usually enclosed, It causes idleness and waste of space.
6. 人行道與騎樓被車輛與攤販占據 。 6. Sidewalks and storefronts are occupied by vehicles and vendors.
藻井為識別宗教建築的重要元素，這種屋頂形式也被 認為是古代穴居建築採光結構發展而成。我們透過藻 井的造型貫穿公園及地下室空間，並以［地下街-藻 井-龍山寺-藻井-信仰］的隱喻連結基地與龍山寺。
Problem_Concept
艋舺公園自萬華發展以來就和龍山寺有密不可分的關 係。龍山池、公園、市場，基地機能的轉變說明了不 同時期居民以龍山寺為中心生活的互動關係。因此我 們擷取龍山寺的元素作為空間概念，希望能讓基地和 龍山寺有更深的連結。

Mengjia Park has an inseparable relationship with Longshan Temple since the development of Wanhua. The changes in the functions of Longshan pond, park, markets, and the site itself show the interactive relationship between the residents living nearby and Longshan Temple at different times. Therefore, we choose the element of Longshan Temple as our concept, hoping to create a deeper connection between the site and Longshan Temple. The caisson is an important element (architectural feature) for identifying religious buildings. This roof form is also considered to be developed from the lighting structure of ancient cave buildings. We transform the shape of the caisson as an element to connect the park and the basement area, as well as connecting our site and the Longshan Temple with the metaphor of [underground street-caisson-Longshan Temple-caisson-faith].

基地現況中迴廊雖然造成許多問題，但也有效 的區隔了馬路與廟埕空間。因此我們保留迴廊 的機能，使它因應周邊建築與環境而有所差異: Although the current corridor caused many problems in the site, it effectively separate the road and the temple. Therefore, we keep the the corridor and let the functions differ according to the surrounding buildings and environment:

和平西路與西園路因尺度較大，以較高的迴廊區隔空 間；近三水街尺度較小，將迴廊高度降低避免造成周 邊建築壓迫，並將三水街與公園交點開口，使市場延 伸進入公園，回應基地歷史關係。
Because Heping West Road and Xiyuan Road have larger scale, both are separated by a higher corridor; Sanshui Street is smaller, so we reduce the height of the corridor to avoid the oppression of surrounding buildings, and open an entrance from Sanshui Street to the park, so that The market extends into the park.
青草巷/小公園延伸進入公園，迴廊下方區域綠化並 設置座椅，部分作為種植藥草使用。 Extend herb Lane/Small Park into the park, plant the area under the corridor and set up seats, also set some areas for planting herbs.
公園中央以酬神戲台回應與龍山寺位置相對關係。為 了避免遮擋龍山寺立面，將酬神戲台移至地下，並增 加公園至地下一樓垂直動線，公園突出的電梯量體則 是使用穿透材質，再以坡道串連維持公園整體性。
The ritual performances at the park is a respond to the relative relationship of the park with Longshan Temple. In order to avoid covering the facade of Longshan Temple, the performance stage is moved to the undeground, and the vertical flow from the park to the underground is added. We also change the material of the elevator near the underground theater into tranparent material, then connect it with ramps to maintain the integrity of the park.

公園分區：分析使用者動線以規劃主要/次要路徑 ，思考一樓與地下對應關係抬高/降低地面成為地 下的採光井，再依照周邊區域加入機能。 Park zoning: Analyze user movements to plan primary/secondary paths, consider the corresponding relationship between the first floor and the underground to raise/lower the ground to become skylights, and then give functions according to the surrounding area.

台南是台灣六都之一，曾為台灣的首府 ，有「古都」之稱。 飲食 小吃為台南一大特色，亦為重要觀光資 源，因為早期以來是臺灣第一大城，移 民帶著不同種類的小吃食品傳入臺灣， 具有臺灣最多樣化的小吃食品。
HISTORY
History/ Tainan is one of the six capitals of Taiwan, once the capital of Taiwan and is known as the "old capital."
在以前糖嚴禁私下販售， 可吃到的家 庭,都是經濟能力好人家，因此在料理 上會加點糖，以顯示其經濟能力。
Food and Drink/ Snacks are the major feature of Tainan and also an important tourist resource. Because it was the largest city in Taiwan in the early days, immigrants brought different kinds of snack foods to Taiwan, and they have the most diverse snack foods in Taiwan.
後來糖漸普及，價格不再那麼昂貴但 還是習慣在料理中放糖。 In the past, it was strictly forbidden to sell sugar privately. Only the families with good economic can get to enjoy sugar. Therefore, sugar can be an indicator to show their economic ability. Later, sugar became more popular, and the price was no longer so expensive but people still put sugar in the dishes as a habit.

將甘蔗放大，圍塑出處於甘蔗田下的氛圍，利用甘蔗葉的弧度做成 天花形成空間重點，也延伸木條形成桌椅，變成另類的家具特色。

蔗糖為一個方體，以兩人房為單位，利用堆疊手法，設計混合住房的 區域，交錯的方體間有部分的天花挑空，可以增加樓層與樓層的對話 ，也可以從挑空觀看錯落堆疊的外觀。
