Circa 1927 “Babe Ruth” Single Signed Baseball. Note the quotation marks around George Herman’s famous nickname proving this is no post-career single. This ball comes complete with a full PSA Letter of Authenticity.
Listing Number: 130399023 d1992 “The Riffleman” Signed Chuck Connors Official NL Baseball
Listing Number: 128780330 Mickey Mantle Signed MLB Baseball with “HOF 1974” Inscription (JSA)
Listing Number: 132499214 Rube Marquard Single Signed Baseball
Listing Number: 132499220 Vintage Hall of Fame 14 Signature Baseball
A Chuck Connor’s autographed official Bart Giamatti NL baseball is JSA Authenticated. Chuck was a true triple threat. A star Riffleman,” played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, the Chicago Cubs and was an original member of the Boston Celtics in 1946. He was also drafted by the NFL’s Chicago Bears. He is one of only 12 athletes in the history of American professional sports to have played for both the MLB and the NBA. He is also credited as the first professional basketball player to break a backboard during warm-ups in the first-ever Boston Celtics game on November 5, 1946, at Boston Arena.
From 1951, when he hit .267 as a 19-year-old Yankees rookie from Oklahoma through 1968, when he belted the last of his 536 career home runs, Mickey Mantle captured the imagination of a generation. A threetime Most Valuable Player, Mantle won the Triple Crown in 1956 with a .353 BA, 52 HR and 130 RBI. Despite being plagued by injuries, he hit over .300 10 times and played in 12 World Series for a team that won seven World Championships during his career. Mantle is considered by many to be the best switch hitter to ever play the game. This item comes complete with JSA Certification.
This ball signed by the 1950 HOFer, Rube Marquard, is rare, and very valuable. VERY reasonable reserve set for this highly desirebale collectible. Richard William “Rube” Marquard was a pitcher in Major League Baseball in the 1910s and early 1920s. He achieved his greatest success with the New York Giants. He retired in 1925 with a record of 201-177 and a 3.08 ERA; his 1593 strikeouts, at the time, ranked 3rd in major league history among left-handers. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1971. Per the JSA LOA, the ball has been restiched, which was a practice used for those athletes striken with writing challenges (i.e. Roy Campanella).
