Q: DO EVER PRODUCT S CONTAIN RETIN-A OR RETINOL? EVER uses Retinol—a milder form of Retin-A—in our Overnight Facial & Sublime products. It’s favored by dermatologists to encourage epidermal cell turnover to visibly improve skin texture and minimize the appearance of pores. However, because Retinol may increase photosensitivity and because sun exposure diminishes the efficacy of Retinol, we advise that you use Retinol only at night, avoid sun exposure, and use an SPF 20+ each morning. Retinol should not be used while pregnant or breastfeeding and you should consult your dermatologist or aesthetician before using Retinol if you do facial waxing, as it can cause sensitivity.
