Penn Hills was a honeymoon resor t located in Analomink, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1944 by Italian immigrants Frances and Charles Paolillo. It star ted off as a small, quiet roadside inn orginally called the “Penn Tavern”. At first, the Tavern was designed as a family destination but soon later became the honeymoon resor t when they were first evolving. Penn Hills star ted to lose business when client realized that they could be spending $300 a night at somewhere like the Carribean, especially because the resor t wasn’t kept up to date. Penn Hills offically closed in 2009 when the co-founder passed away leaving over $1 million in back taxes. Today, the resor t is still abandoned and has been vandalized. If you do choose to visit this once, beautiful, popular resor t, you will feel like you are back in 1970 again!
