Uhuh, Stephanie Marcelle is my First Name followed by my Middle Name. Those two have never changed ... ... Also, the memories of my Parisian Great Grandmother, Marcelle, walk through me as I grow older and I find myself unintentionally bowing to the same tendencies as that beautiful Woman.

Yes I will rattle on later:) for now I can imagine providing a visual of my Kind of Like Good Old Arial Font : It cant be just Funky Enough when viewed in the right proportions It doesnt make you feel condescending with edges too sharp, demeaned with unneeded swirls, or goobery with some bubble letter rounding.

day to day would be more interesting. How does a Single mother of Two look while she designs and sews a children’s clothing line? After Breakfast for my two finest creations, Olivia & Heston, I take one of them to school and return to the nest ... or don’t ... depending on whether or not it is a work day at the other job that pays for the bath water. Sewing is crammed in, The designing is not. It is a part of my personality. I don’t have a persona I don’t believe... Nothing that I have created that I feel like I need to keep up for the sake of the brand.

The Brand is quite the honest one. After worrying for years about whether or not I fell into the social norm ... well ... I ran out of time to do that when I had children and I saw clearly that I was good at being honest and open. I started with nothing and still sew with an old singer, two ton kenmore, or a $100 Brother. Not because I need to keep it down to earth, but because it is what I have and I am happy with it for now. If the youngest of my two naps, Its On. I scramble to put away what I haven’t yet (what is in eye shot at least because I get tempted to clean but who has time for that) from breakfast. Don’t feel sorry ....

E De signer

I don’t feel stressed like I used too ... my kids broke me in !

It isn’t the best of my talents to put together color schemes, lookbooks, or guache sketches. I have discovered though that every time I design for a year or a season, I do it with feeling. It marks a moment-in-time. As I age and find true valuable focus points, the pieces find cohesiveness because they are a group of feelings I poured out without inhibition. maybe this is the Leo in me ... I’m all yours once I’m yours. Or maybe its the Leo in me that makes me think people care that I’m their’s :)
