Smell Like A Man Ramy Ramy Brook Brooke
Dear Gentlemen, there is a new fragrance game in town for 2015, and it’s all about fresh and clean. Why should you care? Because the ’80s called, and it wants its Aramis, Brut, Old Spice and Drakkar back. COMPILED BY STEPHANIE RIVERS
DESIGNING WOMAN
AprÈs Après ONLINE bungalowclothing.com Ever look in your closet and say, “I don’t have anything to wear?” Designer Ramy Sharp said the same thing, so in 2010, she launched her own brand to end this fashion dilemma. While most of Sharp’s collection consists of sexy and sophisticated tops, the line also includes dresses, pants and shorts designed “[to] take her from desk to dinner.” Her latest venture, Après—French for “after”—“takes you from the gym to getting coffee to picking up the kids. It’s for women ages 18-80. I’ll wear it, my daughter could wear it and my mother could wear it.” At less than $200 per item, it’s a great chic and casual look that’s a more affordable option than her ready-to-wear line, where tops run about $295. While we are too consumed by the summer heat right now to think about fall, the Chloe Poncho will be a sure winner when the weather turns cooler. This cloak has an oversize hoodie, and the neon blue strings and zipper pop against its dark canvas.
