What is a Risograph?
The Risograph is a special printer that prints out one or more different designs from seperate peices of papers onto one sheet of paper in different colours of your choice. If you are planning on making more than one design then you would have to place them all into the printer and choose more colours of your choice. your final product should be placed on top of eachother on one piece of paper.
How does it work?
Firstly, You will need to start off by sketching or drawing your ideas on a blank piece of paper. You can use chalk, a marker or paint. pencils are not recommended as they do not appear sharp but faint. You can make more than one designs on different pieces of paper so that you can put them together. Once you have created your design you can now begin to put it into the Risograph printer and begin to print.
Here are some finished products from Finished product the use of the Risograph
This is the finished result of the product. you’re Risograph should now look bright bold and colourful. this is all transphered with coloured ink. No pens, paint or chalk. If you want to be more experimental, you can use cut outs of magazines and photos of your chocie and stencil designs and put them into your design and into the Risograph printer.
