Stephanie Taylor Studio

Taylor has been creating large scale public art for the private sector since 1977. Location drives her concepts. Her projects facilitate an endless curiosity about subject & materials; she's eclectic. Some of her history based projects include the San Francisco Hilton, "Jack & Friends" (SF literary history), "Amelia & Friends," (CA aviation history) & projects for Disney properties in Orlando, CA and Paris. She is also intensely interested in water & land use issues. She co-authored a book about water in CA, "Water: More or Less." She's been in publishing on & off for most her career and thrives on new media. She was a freelance Op-Ed contributor for the "Sacramento Bee" from 2011-19, with a series called, "California Sketches."
