TEST WHAT FITS YOU If you travel with us, a motorcycle is (normally) included. OUR FLEET Our motorcycle fleet is located in Tirol/Austria. This is where we service the motorcycles and supply all of our surrounding destinations Europe-wide, from Iceland to Morocco. For our tours overseas, we have long-time rental partners who provide us with their bikes. Of course, also in this regard we take care of a perfect condition of the motorcycles. Whenever possible, we also equip our bikes with additional gear, which makes your motorcycle vacation totally carefree.

I PACK MY BAGS ... Is it your first motorcycle holiday and you are unsure what to wear or are you travelling to unknown destinations and don’t know what to bring? No worries, we can help you with that! The right clothing and equipment add to your fun and safety on tour. Our first advice, check what the weather and temperature will be like in your touring destination – of course, the packing list varies depending on whether you are travelling to a tropically humid region or a colder area. Our general Edelweiss packing tip: We recommend what we call the “onion principle”: Wear one layer over the other, so you can take a layer off when getting too hot or put another layer on when getting too cold. Use functional high-tech garments instead of cotton. They keep you from sweating and dry quickly.

We recommend casual and dressy clothing and cushy shoes for the dinners and non-riding side programs. Also, do not forget to bring a sweater and jacket as the nights may get chilly. Swimwear is good to have with you, too and bringing undies, socks, t-shirts and your tooth brush go without saying.

We start our tour with a short trip to Bavaria, on roads that seem to be made for our HARLEYDAVIDSONS®: not much traffic, sweeping turns and an incredible scenery. After a night at the bottom of Großglockner, Austria’s highest mountain, we get ready to enter the heart of the Alps. In the Dolomites we treat ourselves to pass after pass and ride turn after turn. By the time we reach Italy after all this riding fun, we definitely deserve a big pizza and one or two glasses of Italian wine! Once we reach lake Garda, you can finally relax for a full day. You can sleep in, take a swim in the lake, go shopping, rent a bicycle or go windsurfing. After our rest day, the Alps’ third-highest mountain pass, the famous Stelvio, is another highlight at the end of our tour.

Our first miles after the border crossing to Peru take us along the Pacific to Moquegua. The next day we head to one of the most beautiful parts of the longest road in the world, the Pan-American Highway, and we soon reach the ancient port of Puerto Inca. The road from Nazca to Ollantaytambo alone is worth the travel with its 500 miles and endless curves on perfect asphalt and with little traffic. Turn after turn, we guide our motorcycles towards today‘s destination, where we take a panorama train to famous Machu Picchu to experience this unique sight over the Urubamba valley. The tour starts in Andalusia, but the ferry ride to Africa is already scheduled for the first riding day. Right away we start with some major highlights: the Rif Mountains with their motorcycle roads and the ancient city of Fes, the Atlas Mountains and, eventually, the Sahara. As a “world tourer” you will collect a certain number of world tourer miles. These will be credited after tour to your personal account. You can use these miles on your next tour to redeem a benefit of your choice (depending on the number of miles you have already collected). The more you travel, the more benefits you will get. We offer motorcycle insurances that reduce the deductible amount in case of an accident so you are always on the safe side. EDELWEISS COVER ALL – TOTALLY CAREFREE ON TOUR With this option your maximum liability for damages to your motorcycle is reduced to zero. You will reduce your deductible in case of damage or accident down to US $ 0, -. An additional benefit: The motorcycle handover at the tour start is quick and easy: No annoying paper work you have to deal with, no risk and no hidden extras. EDELWEISS COVER PLUS – SUPPORT IN EVERY SITUATION The cover plus insurance reduces you deductible amount significantly, so there is a way more limited financial risk in case of damage or accident than without any insurance.
