elcome to our Annual Bull Sale at Mound Creek Ranch. We have been hosting our Brangus bull sales for nearly 20 years and have been in the registered seedstock business for about 25 years. Decided a few years ago it was actually our business to raise beef bulls and not just Brangus bulls. Real beef bulls. For sure beef bulls. Not just wanna be beef bulls. The kind that can and will compete on any front, any market, against any other breed. Certainly hope you will accept our invitation to be with us this year to celebrate the best set of beef bulls we have ever raised in the quarter century we have been in pursuit of the genetic dream.
We are in the very early stages of the most exciting times we have ever seen in the beef business. Our financial rewards are going to be better than ever before and the pattern has the look of hanging in for years. Already seeing calves bringing record prices with more to come. Harvest bulls are hanging upside down for $2000 and demand for their calves is at an all-time high. Feeders in the 700 lb. to 800 lb. range are contracting out for $1200 to $1300 and some are waiting for more. Bottom line, the time has never been better to move older bulls and replace with younger genetics with more real and proven performance power. Every year we make a strong point and will continue to do so until a better system of rewards are in place. We sell beef by the pound. Period. Either through the action barn, over the satellite, upside down, or in the grocery store case. Beef is still sold by the pound. Look over the chart below and you will see what can happen in a short period of time by putting pressure on genetics. Early puberty and fertility are hard to fix, but maybe these are the most important demands we have in our cow herd. We require our heifers breed up to calve at two, and cull the opens. In an unpampered world. We semen test ALL of our bulls at 11 to 13 months of age, demand they pass our rigid requirements, and cull the ones that don't. We demand the cow herd breed up in a 75 day window, and cull the open ones. In an umpampered world. Guess you can see a pattern. Cost too much to keep cattle around that can't pay their way every year. We believe this rigid set of standards translates into a better genetic input into your replacement heifers and ultimately your long term cow herd. We know it has in ours. This page is short, sweet and to the point. Daily we work on building a better beef bull by strict pressure on the measured traits and much more pressure on those traits difficult to see and measure. Our efforts translate into more profit for our bull buyers through beef bulls designed for the long haul. Designed to stay in your cows. Designed to sire more pounds with less inputs. Designed to wean heavier calves, more calves, and more total pounds of beef to market. Our bulls are built stronger to last longer! Take a look at the table below and see the progress our bulls have made in a short six years. Our gain test program has not changed. Our management has not changed. Our commitment has never wavered. In fact the amount of feed our bulls eat today on gain test compared to six years ago is nearly identical. That translates into better appetite and better conversion of feedstuff to pounds of gain. The differences below have evolved in only six short years! Weights and Measures 2006 Mound Creek Sale Bulls

Dan Carlisle has dedicated his life to shotgun shooting sports. Being a 4-time Hall of Fame
inductee, Olympic medalist, World Champion, 13-time main event National Champion and an avid bird hunter, he has found that his true passion is teaching shotgun sports. Dan was on both World teams for the 2011 Veteran Class. Dan has won at the highest level around the world in the toughest competitions during his shooting career. Particular highlights were being inducted into the Army Shooting Hall and Fame and the National Sporting Clays Association Hall of Fame. Being the leading instructor in the United States, his twentyseven years of teaching shotgun sports has allowed him to perfect all aspects of the clay target sport. He has produced more Olympic, World and National champions than any other instructor. Eddie Blazek is committed to building the finest shooting experience in the world so realized the need for a full time manager to oversee the operation. He reached out to Brian Hughes, a fellow competitor and long time friend for some insight on the project. Sparked by Eddie’s excitement and enthusiasm, Brian himself came aboard to fill the managerial rolls and handle all the day to day operations.
Brian Hughes spent the last six years as the general manager of the Dallas Gun Club, one of the largest and best in the nation. Brian is also a fierce competitor and one of the most talented men in the world on the clay target scene. Brian has won tournaments too numerous to mention at the highest level and all around the world. He is the reigning Main Event Champion for both Zone 5 and 6 and former member of the USA Shooting Team. Four Oaks Shooting Sports is fortunate to have a young man of his skill set, leadership, and vision to make his new home at Mound Creek Ranch and Four Oaks Shooting Sports.

Date of Birth Generation Spring 2012 EPDs
Registration Number: Bulls noted with “R” number are Registered Brangus. Those noted with a “C” number are Certified Brangus and are either 1/4 or 1/2 Brahman influence. “UB” bulls are Ultra-Blacks, indicating they are a Brangus-Angus blend. “AX” recorded bulls are appendix registered purebred Brangus that have non-typical Brangus color pattern.
Expected Progeny Difference
Polled/Scurs: denotes bulls that are either smooth polled or have the presence of scurs or slick spots. Those bulls noted as “scurs” typically have had scurs removed post-weaning.
EPD Accuracy: Since all bulls in this catalog are non-parents, their accuracies are the lowest calculated by our national sire evaluation program. Every EPD reported is either current or an interim EPD. An EPD noted with a “P” is a pedigree EPD which is the average of the parent’s EPDs.
Expected Progeny Difference (EPD): The genetic predictor of how future progeny of each animal are expected to perform relative to the progeny of other animals listed in the breed database.
Pedigree: denotes sire, dam, and maternal grandparents.
Birth Weight EPD (BW): expressed in pounds, predicts calf size and calving ease. Weaning Weight EPD (WW): expressed in pounds, is a predictor of an animal’s ability to transmit weaning growth to its progeny. Yearling Weight EPD (YW): expressed in pounds, is a predictor of an animal’s ability to transmit yearling growth to its progeny. Milk EPD (Milk): predicts a sire’s genetic merit for milk and mothering ability as expressed in his daughters compared to daughters of other sires. In other words, it is that part of a calf’s weaning weight attributed to milk and mothering ability. Maternal & Growth EPD (MG): expressed in pounds, a genetic predictor of weaning weight by blending a combination of maternal milk and weaning weight value. Scrotal Circumference EPD (SC): measured in centimenters at yearling time, predicts testicular size. Fat Thickness (FAT): expressed in inches, is a predictor of transmitting ability for external fat thickness and correlates to fleshing ability and fat cover at harvest time. Intramuscular Fat (IMF): expressed as a percentage, is a predictor of transmitting ability for marbling or intra-muscular fat correlating to USDA quality grade at harvest time. Ribeye Area (REA): expressed in square inches, is a predictor of transmitting ability of ribeye size and overall muscle mass which is a key component in USDA yield grades.
Summit Cow or Summit Sire: are noted in pedigrees with the word abbreviation (SC) for Summit Cow and (SS) for Summit Sire. Initially, a cow must calve at 30 months of age or younger. She must then maintain a calving interval of 380 days or less, weaning at least 3 calves with weaning weights recorded for all calves. Finally, the weaning weight ratio for all calves must average at least 105%. Once a Summit Cow has earned her distinction she will always be noted as such. A sire is given Summit status once he has at least 5 daughters reach Summit Cow status.
Individual Performance Birth Weight (BW): actual weight at birth, expressed in pounds. Weaning Weight (205): weaning weight adjusted to a constant 205 days. Takes into account differences in days of age at weaning time and age of dam at birth. Weaning Weight (Ratio): A direct comparison of an individual to all other individuals in its weaning contemporary group. Expressed as a percentage with 100 being the average for the group. Yearling Weight (365): yearling weight adjusted to a constant 365 days. Takes into account differences in days of age at yearling time, average daily gain post-weaning, and adjusted 205 weight. Yearling Weight (Ratio): A direct comparison of an individual to all other individuals in its yearling contemporary group. Expressed as a percentage with 100 being the average for the group. Scrotal Circumference (SC): testicular circumference, measured in centimeters, and adjusted to 365 days of age. Fat (FAT): measured in inches and adjusted to 365 days. Intramuscular Fat (IMF): measured as a percentage and used as a predictor of genetic marbling value. Ribeye Area (REA): measured in square inches and used as a predictor of ribeye size.

The two brothers were the excitement of the sale when that selection topped our offering at $50,000. That might have been the easy part. Blackwater Cattle Company now had to make their selection between Something Special and El Patron. After days of deliberation the choice was made and Something Special was named. We commented at the time this herd sire prospect was destined to be the next great powerhouse bull of the breed and his early progeny proof paint exactly that picture. The first sons weighed at yearling time average 1342 lbs. adjusted, measured 38.5 cm. for scrotal circumference, scanned 16.5 inch ribeye on average, and measured 5.1% IMF value. The first season of weaning records already has placed Something Special on the Weaning Weight Trait Leader List and he is certain to follow up on multiple trait leader levels. All this power and carcass merit bends the curve when considering he has 121 birth records to date averaging only 79 lbs. He has the horsepower to add pounds with more carcass merit and maternal potential.

He is the full brother to Something Special that many, many outstanding cattlemen would have selected from the choice of the two brothers sold in our 2010 Bull Sale for $50,000. Both equally outstanding and both monumental herd sire prospects with the genetic pop to last a lifetime. El Patron is a genuine beef bull loaded with thickness, muscle and bone. His offspring have a cool look and will win in the show ring as well as over the scale. Currently El Patron ranks in the breeds top 2% for WW, 10% for YW, 10% for M&G, 10% for SC, 3% for REA, and 10% for IMF. Watching the progression of Something Special we are certain El Patron will make the several trait leader lists in his future and certainly do so with plenty of flair and appeal. Every breeder that has visited the ranch has fallen in love with El Patron and practically all have exclaimed he is the best beef bull they have ever seen!

As his namesake implies this prospect is really something special. He, along with his brothers, represent the first set of sons from their remarkable sire. MC Something Special 129W14 was our $50,000 high selling bull out of our 2010 Bull Sale and this calf crop immediately brings credibility to the faith we placed in Something Special. Lot 1 and Lot 2 are embryo brothers produced through IVF and because of this method you will find a little heavier birth weights on average from calves produced via IVF. We certainly feel comfortable with this prospect whom we feel has a comfortable birth weight zone any breeder can use. Particularly if that program is interested in pounds, maternal value, carcass merit, and show ring appeal. Lot 1 ranks in our breed’s top 1% for WW and YW, top 2% for IMF, 4% for REA, 10% for M&G, and 20% for SC. Their donor dam is such a special cow she was selected as the lead heifer from her entire calving year born. Like Something Special, MC Ms Lucia 127W is a genetic powerhouse from a family tribe proven over time for fertility and udder quality. She sells as Lot 156 in our female section.

We guarantee his picture does not do him justice. MC Something Special 127W42 is the outstanding powerhouse bull in this entire sale of great prospects! He offers that unique blend of superior performance in a design that will insure a great set of daughters in his future. His mother is the best heifer from her entire calving year and is proven family wise for fertility and quality udders. In a short time his $50,000 sire is proving to be the next dominant Brangus bull in the breed and the most widely known of all the great sons of Jethro. Lot 2 has the #1 adjusted weaning weight in the sale, the heaviest yearling weight, the largest scrotal measurement, the largest ribeye, and still has the eight best IMF value at 6.1%! Look his wonderful mother up and she will impress from any angle. His sire has been touted by all who have seen him as the best Brangus bull that ever walked! Had a strong breeder who saw 127W42 the other day and remarked how much he looked like the $50,000 Something Special at the same age.

Here is one that might take top selling honors. Those who have seen him sure do like what they see. 333Y12 is attractive in a heavy boned, long sided, big topped design. He measured the second largest ribeye in the entire sale at 18.1 inches and still broke the 5% IMF barrier. This performance powerhouse has been a standout since birth and currently offers the fourth highest weaning weight in the sale at 902 lbs. with a 1406 lb. yearling weight! His genetic predictors rank in the top 1% of the breed for WW and YW, top 2% for M&G and REA, top 10% for IMF, and top 15% for SC. You will find three phenomenal full brothers produced through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) embryo transfer. Their impressive dam was one of the top three heifers selected from her calving season. She is moderate, big ribbed, heavy boned and makes a great udder with plenty of milk. We have a set of full sisters to these bulls and they are the most impressive from our entire set of replacement heifers.

Another performance standout who we feel has got to be a sale topper. He is just flat out one of the easiest bulls in this sale to like. Fundamentally fault free from end to end he ranks in the breeds top 1% for WW and YW, top 3% for M&G, top 4% for REA, top 10% for IMF, and top 20% for SC. While he excels in many areas, it is his balance of genetic predictors, measured numbers, and overall phenotypic design that make him a sale standout. This long bodied, high capacity bull is easy tempered, sound moving, easy fleshing and possesses excellent breed character that so many programs are currently searching for. His dam is a maternal sister to our own great Too Cool and she stems from the 333 family that started this new clan when we purchased the pick of the entire fall calving season from the highly Dalebanks Angus program in Eureka, Kansas.

Probably can’t be done since each offers long term value that any program can use to improve breeding value and market value. MC Something Special 333Y10 is impressive in so many traits certain to move any program. Superior rib capacity, moderate frame size, and red carpet design in a looser made package destined to offer aid to those programs that need to put some Brangus back in their Brangus herd. This big topped prospect is one of the widest, thickest, squarest butted bulls in the entire offering and will sire those soft sided females with shape, depth, and cow making value. He is also the kind most of the steer guys will love because of his muscle mass and looseness of hide. Look him up and you will be impressed with this overall rare blend of muscle, mass, eye appeal, and substance.

MC Something Special 129W14 Sire of Lot 6
Selling: 100% possession, two-thirds (2/3) breeding/semen interest, and four (4) IBBA ownership rights. He could easily be the lead off bull in a sale of standout prospects. The Something Special sons are incredible and this one makes a great case that he is the best. This long bodied, high capacity performance bull looks just like his great sire at this same age. The rest of that story turned out pretty well we can all agree. MC Something Special 889Y15 is rich in all the measurements and data points. Easy to love his reach from modest birth weight and BW EPD to a WW ranking in the top 1%, M&G top 1%, YW top 2%, REA top 2%, Milk and IMF in top 10% and SC still in top 15%. Incredible genetic predictors backed by a ribeye of 17.4 inches and a 5% IMF value. Note his big testicles and serious weights at weaning and yearling. With all that said, still not the best part of this package. His elite dam is one of our highly acclaimed Summit Cows that has now calved six consecutive years with a calving interval of 365 days. A maternal sister to Lot 6 produced the neat herd sire prospect selling as Lot 71, and a different maternal sister, MC Ms New Direction 889T2, has already produced one of our top replacement heifers born in 2011 and another daughter that was one of our tops from 2009.

You might note the dam of Lots 3, 4, and 5 is a daughter of MC News Man 2K4 and a maternal sister to MC Too Cool 1420W30. The calf raising value and udder quality of our 2K4 daughters are impressive so we are certain Too Cool will leave a sterling set of daughters with quality udders and big calves at weaning time. Too Cool’s paternal dam was the high selling cow in the entire breed in 2002 and she represents one of the all time great maternal Brangus cow families.

This small handful of his sons represent sire Too Cool well with balance, moderate size, ample bone, and plenty of rib. They offer striking phenotype with a cool look. The first group of Too Cool sons averaged over 15 inches for ribeye, 38.3 for scrotal circumference, 1250 lbs. at yearling time, 4.6% IMF value, and all out of first calf heifers. We believe the Too Cool cattle will offer that “goldilocks” approach to selection by being not so much this, and not so much that, not too big, not too small, but juuuust right.

From his light 71 lb. birth weight he went to 1300 lbs. at yearling time after coming off his first calf heifer dam nearing 800lbs. MC Elegido 924W6 Sire of Lot 20
We’ve been asked a number of times what Elegido means. The name was selected by our good friend from Argentina, Santiago Debernardi. The name means “the chosen one” and was selected because Genex chose MC Elegido 924W6 as their $30,000 selection from our 2010 bull sale with the primary purpose being to produce large volumes of semen production for use in Argentina and South America. Now Elegido calves are being born all over that part of the world with impressive results. When our first set of Elegido calves hit the ground we were very pleased and even more so as they developed, from weaning to end of gain test. Now the first Elegido calves show the early satisfaction of superior gainability, impressive marbling values, and massive ribeyes. All this wrapped up in a neat and easy to appreciate package. MC Elegido 10Y5 is the spitting image of his super sire with plenty of bone, rib capacity, looseness, and over all good looks.

He is a light birth weight choice that will control frame, add eye appeal, and juice up a pedigree from the standpoint of maternal value, fertility, and cow family strength. His paternal grand dam will go into history books as one of the all-time great cows in the breed producing the likes of OnStar, Rock Star, and Elegido along with the Grand Champion Heifer at the 2011 National Junior Brangus Show. The dam of the prospect is a Summit Cow earning the reward with a 360 day calving interval now on six calves. Her sire is also a Summit Sire and one of the great bulls in breed records. If you are looking for an even tempered choice with a friendly disposition and overall good looks then take care to look this one up.

When you get any group of breeders together the conversation always seems to migrate to their choices of the greatest when comparing breed sires or breed cows. Any time that debate takes place the donor dam of these four prospects, Miss BB Brinks Cadence 468G15, is always in the conversation. She has been proclaimed the greatest cow in the breed and certainly she has been proclaimed the greatest daughter of the immortal Cadence. We do know she has been a favorite of ours because of quality production through a wide variety of sire lines and spread over years and years of production. She has 133 calves recorded to date and probably more to follow. With all these records this grand old cow still maintains a -4.1 BW to rank in the top 1% of the breed; an earned Milk value of +25 to rank in the top 1%; an earned REA EPD of +0.99 to rank in the Top 50 cows of the entire breed; an IMF value ranking in top 20%; and growth EPD value ranking in top 5% for WW and 4% for YW. You will see four sons sired by Jethro or Rock Star. These calves started slow in last summer’s terrible drought but are really turning on the jets now. Consider your next herd sire from these four bulls. Impressive blend of “the great ones” Rock Star, Jethro, and 468G15.

He’s the real deal considering his impressive resume of great ones spread throughout his ancestry. With the third largest ribeye in the sale at 18.0 inches and a Top Ten yearling weight at 1421 lbs. it is sure easy to see the genetic contributions he will offer to any program in the country. Just not many bulls with those measured facts. Add to this accord his big testicles, high IMF reading, and superior weaning weight along with WDA of about 4 pounds gain per day! This outstanding genetic package is a maternal brother to the $25,000 second high selling bull from the 2011 Blackwater Bull Sale. Their dominating dam is loaded with EPD value blending performance, carcass merit and maternal value to the highest degree ranking in breed’s top 1% for WW, YW, M, M&G, REA, top 15% for IMF, 20% for SC, and still in the best half for BW!! Look through this section and you will find a covey of brothers out of the great donor noted here!!

in a genetic component certain to influence calving ease through birth weights, change phenotype by classing up an end product, enhance milk value, and offer another level of marbling potential. When we considered the sires choices we decided Nimitz fit those requirements so the all-time great 889P4 was bred and flushed to Nimitz who currently is #4 on the Milk Trait Leader List, #7 for M&G, and #9 for IMF while also ranking in the top 15% for light Birth Weight. From calving on we watched with great anticipation as Flight Deck evolved through weaning, post weaning, and gain test. We used him early in natural service, AI, and embryo transfer. Now his first sons are ready to showcase our belief in Flight Deck as an exceptional junior herd sire with all the right components to become one of the great ones in the breed. His first sons in this sale averaged 72 lbs. at birth, 781 lbs. at weaning, 1238 lbs. at yearling, 5.0% IMF, and 15.6 inch ribeye area. These first Flight Deck sons are all we can ask for in a first set of calves and they leave us with great anticipation relative to the long term future the Flight Deck sons and daughters will build into our genetic programs. And oh by the way. When we weighed Flight Deck off at yearling time he scanned a 17.6 inch ribeye and weighed 1379 lbs. He is wide as an aircraft carrier and long as its landing area. Hence the connection with Nimitz and the name Flight Deck. Just a little history.

A definite beef bull loaded with thickness, muscle, and volume. He has pounds in the right places and represents a unique opportunity to change a cow herd for the future needs of the beef industry. This bull probably will never win an eye appeal award. However, if you are looking for a deep bodied, wide topped, big ended bull with a ton of guts, butts and nuts then this is one to consider. He will Brangus up a cow herd and put future producers back in the pasture and rancher’s bulls back in your sale pens. Light birth weight, 907 lb. weaning weight, and 1300 lb. plus yearling weight wrapped together in a high maternal package. Also, should be of note this 907 lb. weaning weight comes out of a first calf heifer by Guns D that calved at 22 months of age, bred back in season, has a perfect udder, and now will be on our radar for future donor cows.

MC Guns Donovan 124R Sire of Lots 69 & 70
This herd bull candidate is the biggest ribbed bull in the sale with a ton of guts, substance of bone, and overall fleshing ability. He is also one of the highest performing considering his 901 lb. weaning weight and weight per day of age at 4.14 lbs. per day! He was measured at 307 days so he is too young for yearling adjustments. However, those measurements would translate into a yearling weight well over 1500 lbs. and a ribeye over 17 inches. A burly beef bull with the look he will produce daughters destined for the long term pasture life. His incredibly wet dam weaned her first calf at 779 lbs. to ratio 113%. This second calf came in at 901 lbs. to ratio 114%. All that milk plus performance and she still breeds back for a spring calf. MC Guns 111Y15’s maternal grand dam, MC Ms Dateline 111L2, is our most important donor from the 111 family and one that has produced several herd sire sons and donor females. He’s built like a tank with lots of go bred in.

Revelation is currently ranked #1 in the entire breed for Yearling Weight, #4 for Weaning Weight, #7 for Ribeye area, and #10 for Scrotal. He will likely move into a high rank for Milk and Maternal Value once a few more daughters wean calves. If so this will put him on same par with his great sire, New Direction, who has been a National Breed Trait Leader for Weaning Weight, Yearling Weight, Milk Value, Maternal Value, Scrotal Circumference, and Ribeye Area EPD values.

The bulls in this section are an added feature compared to what we have offered in past sales. These bulls do not necessarily fit the design type we strive to produce and present to our buyers year in and year out. They tend to be a little flatter with an easier shoulder placement to appreciate for pure calving ease potential. However, the bulls in this section have earned the right to sale in this offering due to their blend of light birth weight and light birth weight EPD value. There are many bulls spread throughout this catalog that are equally qualified to consider for calving ease use. This bulls in this section are specific for this purpose. We think you will appreciate the fact the bulls found here still have quality performance and solid carcass merit potential.

Breeding/Calf Information:
Selling: 100% possession, two-thirds (2/3) embryo interest, and four (4) IBBA ownership rights. Mound Creek will retain the rights to one-third (1/3) future embryo interests. Will calve to MC Righteous 924X2 this spring season. She will rank as the best Brangus female to sell in the breed in 2012! Visually stunning with the purple ribbon look MC Ms Lucia 127W ranks as the top heifer from her birth year at Mound Creek Ranch as dictated by her remarkable blend of phenotype and measured facts. She is the donor dam of the incredible herd sire prospects selling as Lots 1 and 2, and the natural dam of breathtaking prospect selling as Lot 19. We have four daughters retained in the herd and a few embryo calves so this difficult decision to sell her became more manageable. Keep in mind this monumental young cow was the top of her calf crop, produced a set of IVF embryos, bred back in season, raised an 800 lb. herd sire son, produced a set of embryos, bred back again in season, and will have her second calf around her third birthday. More facts to consider: 205 weight 721 lbs./102%, 365 weight 1047 lbs./110%, REA 13.6 in./112%, IMF 6.8%/145%. Yes, she is a remarkable female and the kind any program can build its future around!

These two full sisters represent the best maternal genetic value in the breed! MC Rock Star 924U6’s intended purpose is to sire great daughters. The early proof shows that he will leave a breed legacy of awesome females with superior udder quality, fleshing ability, and pasture value. Of course all will migrate to the bottom side of this pedigree because it is rare we ever sell daughters of MC Ms Extravagant 889P4. Now you get to choose which one you like and sired by the bull that guarantees a quality cow. MC Ms Extravagant 889P4 is the cow we consider the greatest in the breed today and certainly one that everybody has to have on their Top Five List of great cows. She has produced more herd sire sons than any cow in breed history and her genetic net continues to spread through her great group of donors in embryo transfer. The sire of 889P4 is the #1 Angus bull in their entire genetic population for Heifer Pregnancy EPD. In our Brangus population Extra H6 is also a calving ease sire known for quality daughters, carcass merit, and superior performance. These two heifers blend incredible genetic value from the 889 and 924 cow families and therefore can supply every demand any program has for a future donor female.

Fantastic pair of Jethro daughters with their first calves at side. Great udder design with an awesome pair of heifer calves indicate the long term genetic quality they will pass into their next herd. The Jethro daughters in this sale will be part of a small handful to sell in the entire breed in 2012 and each should be considered donor quality. These two certain are! Their remarkable donor dam is the very cow that started the 129 branch that produced the $50,000 Something Special, El Patron, Resolute, the $47,000 MC Ms Lead Gun 129T12, the $15,000 RBM Ms Lead Gun 129S8, and elite donor cow MC Ms John Wayne 129R7. These two heifers each rank in the top 1% for IMF and M&G, and the top 3% for pure Milk. Powerhouse growth EPDs compliment impressive carcass merit. Staggering cow family heritage and limitless possibilities. Grab hold and go with a very cool pair of Jethro daughters.

This young donor has already proven herself in our embryo program. We have a set of embryos from her sired by Something Special and Too Cool so we can try and satisfy the demand we have for quality young donor cows. She has excellent calving ease with a spread to a top 1% YW, 4% WW, top 1% REA, 10% M&G, 15% IMF and 25% pure Milk. She comes from a long time Mound Creek cow family and offers a wide array of genetic blending possibilities. Three natural calves weaned with a calving interval of 371 days with a nursing index of 103%. A son sells as Lot 24 and he weaned at 800 lbs. and scanned a 16.8 inch ribeye. Her maternal grandsire was one of the first Cool Hand sons to sell and he brought $25,000 in 2002. Take her home and make money. She’s the kind to keep your program moving in the right direction. •
An elite young female that has proven her worth in the donor pens. We loved her moderate design and completeness of package, perfect udder, fleshing ability, and a quality early calf so we moved her forward in the genetic design program and collected a set of 21 quality embryos sired by MC Righteous 924X2. She calved at 23.5 months of age, raised an 800 lb. bull calf, collected a set of embryos, and still bred back to stay in her initial spring season. Her dam brought $25,000 in our 2007 Female Sale and her grand dam brought $14,000 in our 2003 Female Sale. Notice an impressive set of genetic predictors highlighted by a top 3% rank for REA. She will have a Righteous calf so be one of the few in the country to lead the genetic charge.
