It seems like we just had this sale and yet here we are again! Both the Teets and Griswold family would like extend our warmest invitation to join us at the Mountain Classic Female sale October 30th in the beautiful Lost River, West Virginia.

The Teets and Griswold’s believe in good cattle. Cattle are what brought us together and a friendship has formed with the same passion, drive, and belief in what this industry means. We truly believe that God set apart people to be stewards over his animals large and small and that He brings us together to achieve great things. We want these cattle to work in the real world, we want them to work for you. When you buy a female from this sale you open a relationship with us and a friendship that we value.

We take great pride in making sure that we do our part in feeding the world, in raising a family that knows how to work, how to succeed, and how to get things done. There is a beauty that comes with this lifestyle, it is busy, it is hard, and it is uphill, but it is also worth it. We live in the part of the country that is rich in heritage and tradition, each day we feel so blessed for all we have, for the forefathers that set up this great Nation and that we are so blessed to live on American soil. We don’t take those blessings lightly. We just opened up Lost River Butcher Block, it has been a huge undertaking for our entire family and crew but it

brings what we do with the cattle each and everyday full circle. Good cattle that work, that feed, that produce, and are practical and productive has been our goal since day one of starting this sale. We see firsthand the genetics that work in the pasture, in the show ring, and on the rail, there is room in this industry for the genetics to be one in the same and we strive everyday to produce those kind of cattle.

Both our operations are family driven. We raise our children with the knowledge it takes a lot of hustle, drive and desire to get ahead. This sale takes so many to pull off and the Teets boys have been working hard to get all the cattle ready. Justin headed off to school this fall in Oklahoma, to say we miss him would be an understatement, he adds a lot to our program and has a passion that is hard to match but the rest of the crew has been busy making sure everything is up to par. This is as good a set of heifer calves as we have ever offered and you will find program building genetics through the entire offering. It’s a set we are proud of.

TERMS OF SALE

Terms of payment are cash or good check. No cattle will be loaded until approved by sale clerks. Please make payment within 30 days of the sale, any bills past 30 days will be subject to a 3% service charge.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

All cattle sell under the terms and conditions of their respective breed associations. All announcements made on the supplement sheet or on the sale block will take precedence over material presented in this book. Please leave all transfer instructions with the sale clerks following the auction.

BREEDING INFORMATION

The pregnancy status reported is the projected months safe-in-calf as of sale day. All of the bred females that are noted “Likely safe AI” are just what that means - likely AI bred. We spend a lot of time preg checking these; we won’t get every one right, but we will dang sure get most of them right. The females that only have certain months bred on their breeding means they are likely bred to the clean up bulls, unless the pasture exposed is otherwise noted. We won’t get everyone of those right either - some of them will calve to their AI date.

TRUCKING

We will work with you to find the most reasonable and economical trucking available. Dwyer will have a trailer available to haul back to Illinois Sale Day.

HERD HEALTH

All cattle will have papers for interstate travel, and all bred females will be recently pregnancy checked. Buyers of bred cattle have 21 days to re-pregnancy check purchases. If any animals are found to be open please contact the seller or sale management within that 21 day period for an adjustment to be made. Sale Vet Lost River Animal Hospital, PLLC - Lost River, WV.

This female will be a stand out in any field she goes into. She is out of a son of HPF Perfection W901, a female that has stood the test of time and is still making them at Kevin Canes. She is out of an extremely nice CCR Wide Range 9005A cow that has a shot of Hot Rod back in her pedigree.
