First let me say thank you for your interest in the 7th Annual FHSU bull Sale. The response this year from breeders, staff and friends has been incredible. The students and I have been diligently working to increase our number and quality of bulls to present to you.

The cow herd here at FHSU has focused on building a solid foundation on predictable genetics with production and maternal value. We have begun to incorporate fresh genetics to add power, performance, and phenotype. The results of this are prevalent throughout this catalog.

This year the bulls have exceeded our expectations in every department. These maybe the stoutest set of bulls we have ever offered. As a group they are stout made, square built with extra mass and substance. We have been extremely vigilant on maintaining sound functional bulls that are impeccably good footed with gentle dispositions.

At FHSU we are incredibly proud of our cattle, but we are prouder of our students. We are a teaching unit first and foremost. We strive to give our students the tools and experience they need to continue forward in their professional careers. Please take a moment to visit with the students on sale day. They remain our best commodity for the future of agriculture.

TRUCKING/YARDAGE

Free trucking on all bulls within a 150 mile radius. Take your bulls home the day of the sale and receive $50 off your purchase price. Free yardage on all bulls until April 15, 2024. Bulls are welcome to stay at a $5/day cost if prior arrangements are made with Ivan Anderson.
