As we prepare for this sale, there has never been more optimism towards the cattle market. With the reduced national cow herd numbers, the future looks bright for the commercial cow-calf sector. The only thing outside of good herd and land management to offset these dryer times is to stock your pastures with functional, easy-fleshing cattle that perform in harsh conditions.
As you flip though this catalog, take note these are natural calves out of our spring calving cow herd that is full of quality and cow power! This set of bulls were born later in the season and didn’t fit the window for our spring sale. You are the first to have the opportunity at these bulls.
We believe you’ll find the deepest and most consistent set of bulls we have offered. These bulls are designed and built for the commercial man to excel in enhancing of your cow herds, and the profitability of your mechanized livestock. It’s widely recognized that crossbreeding enhances fertility in a cow herd while adding extra performance and more efficient conversion in the feedlot. Heterosis is truly the only thing free in the beef industry.
We are excited to be working with Chris Shivers on the replacement female portion of the sale. This year, we added a group of high-quality registered Hereford heifers. Everyone is in build back mode and our offering is smaller than in years past. We appreciate those who did consign lots. Please reach out to Chris or any of the consigners on this offering, which includes Braford females bred to Pérez bulls, and open Brahmans. As the sale approaches, we will have additional consignments and information.

Delivery
FREE DELIVERY ON BULLS for the first 500 miles with purchase of $5,000 or more in the continental USA.
Delivery arrangements will be made on females at buyer’s expense. Delivery must be taken by October 28, 2024.
Guarantees
We guarantee all bulls sold to be sound and healthy breeders. Sight unseen purchases are guaranteed 100%.
Sale Terms
Terms are cash. The cattle will sell under the standard terms and conditions as recommended by the American Hereford Association. Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over any catalog information. The animal becomes the property of the purchaser as soon as sold, but it shall be the responsibility of the seller to see that animals are properly cared for until delivery to the purchaser. Any death or injury after the animal is sold is at the buyer’s risk.
Herd Health
Cattle are current on all vaccinations and will be accompanied with proper health certificates for immediate shipment to most locations in the United States. Any additional tests required for entry into certain states will be performed after the sale at the seller’s expense and prior to delivery.
All Hereford cattle are IE, HY, MDF and diluter-free by pedigree. Bulls will be Trich, semen and fertility tested. All commercial females have been preg-checked safe in calf or sell confirmed open.
Load Out
Load out will take place after the completion of the sale.
Insurance
Mortality Insurance will be available sale day.
Sale Videos & Pictures
Bull and Hereford heifer videos will be available after October 15th. All other female videos will be available by October 26th on Bid.Live-Ag.

Elite Females
As the industry tries to restock, this years offering is smaller than in years past but the quality is still deep.
We are excited to offer a set of registered Hereford heifers, Braford heifers that are bred to Perez bulls, along with open Brahman heifers. It’s been a long-time goal to provide an avenue for our bull clients to market their premium quality replacement females and we look forward to this area growing.
The females will be displayed in a pen as they will sell. Most pens will consist of 3-5 head. All bred females have been pregnancy verified safe in calf by a certified veterinarian prior to the sale and this status will be indicated on the sale sheet and health certificate. All open females will be certified open and guaranteed to breed. The cattle listed are early consignments with additional cattle being committed by sale day.
