PLACE CALLED LENAH

All great places are born out of a strong vision and become a reality as a result of planning and diligent oversight. The purpose of this document is to provide that strong vision as well as the fundamental detailed information and drawings necessary to make Lenah a reality. Each section of this document begins with an artistic view of a portion of Lenah, followed by concrete drawings such as Site plans, Floor Plans and Elevations which define everything in the built environment required to make that vision a reality. In other words, the vision is real and can be built precisely. The streetscapes in this document are not overly rendered

However, there were also some examples of more high style architectural buildings which inspired us. In all cases, the architectural precedents were Colonial American in style, principally Georgian.

Therefore we have used Georgian Architecture as the core influence for all of Lenah’s various building types. This style features symmetrical forms, masonry walls with siding accents. Windows are double hung with simple roofs made up of both hipped and gabled forms. There is an emphasis on order, classical details such as rich cornices, handsome porticos and operable shutters. Materials are authentic and colors are rich and historical in nature.
