The science of fizz control When our Chemists (who we call our Fizzicists) developed Sustain as a processing aid to reduce fobbing and improve line speed efficiency, they quickly discovered an un-intended benefit: Sustain’s unique formulation not only controls the excess fob, but discourages bubbles from merging into larger bubbles by solubilising CO2 more effectively.

For CO2 optimisation, we advise starting at 0.14 grams per litre. For beverages that are more problematic to fill due to high foaming, the dosage may be higher.
