My recent photographic work has been made at the edges of the Earth's tectonic plates in Iceland (Ultima Thule) and Japan (A Catfish Sleeps). The photographs look at the human-cultural landscape within the context of its underlying geology. 'A Catfish Sleeps' was made in Japan between 2009 - 2010 and at the time of the Great Tohoku Earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.
