General Information About our facilities: Camp sessions take place on the beautiful St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School seven and a half-acre campus in Coral Gables. Indoor activities are held in our building’s air-conditioned classrooms. Specialty classes are held in classrooms designed and equipped for these purposes. Campers enjoy the use of our spacious fields and playground.

About our staff: All St. Thomas Summer Programs are staffed by qualified St. Thomas teachers whose reassuring attitudes encourage creativity and exploration. We feature numerous specialty teachers who have been trained to build skills in their areas of expertise. Safety is a primary concern of the St. Thomas staff and our members have been trained in First Aid and CPR. The low camper- to-staff ratio allows time for individual attention and maximum supervision.

Snacks and Lunch: Summer camp tuition includes snacks for all campers. A hot lunch from area vendors is available for an additional fee of $30/week. There will be only one choice per day for lunch. Campers with particular tastes or allergies are encouraged to pack a lunch. Further information on weekly lunches will be provided. Daily attendees must bring their own lunch. Important: Current health forms (DH3040, DH680)

are required for all campers. Due to allergies, NO peanut products may be brought into camp.

Extended Care: Extended Care will be available to all campers in the mornings and afternoons at an additional charge. Service is available on an hourly basis at a rate of $10/hour. Campers may arrive as early as 8:00 A.M. and may be picked up as late as 4:00 P.M. A fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged for campers not picked up by 4:00 P.M. After care can be prepaid - see schedule of fees.

Absences/Changes: A deposit of 50% of the total camp fees must accompany the registration form. The 50% deposit is non-refundable. You may pay it ONLINE. Camp groups are staffed based on enrollment. Therefore, changes to your child’s registration cannot be made after May 31st, 2011. A fee of $50 per camper will be charged for any changes made after the abovementioned date. There will be no make-ups or refunds for days missed.

Camp Gear: A T-shirt, water bottle, and bag will be distributed only to campers attending a full week. Campers are encouraged to bring their water bottles, sun block, and caps daily. T-shirts must be worn on field trips. All equipment and clothing must be labeled.
