Lightweight Bathroom Pod
The lightweight bathroom pods (CBL) is composed of a reinforced concrete base, of varying thickness, made of a galvanized steel frame, and of walls and ceiling constituted by structural S320 steel profiles framework thickness 8/10, duly designed to lodge ducts, conduits, electrical cables and pipes for electrical and water installations, boarded with panels of various materials according to the specific requirements. The steel profiles are customized components, produced by a rollforming plant, in application of the specific project. The cladding panels are made with performing materials such as plasterboard or fiber board. Base, walls and ceiling are then fixed together by means of self-tapping steel screws. During the manufacturing process the pod is continuously checked both for structural and installation aspects.

According to the characteristics of the project, StercheleGroup offers two types of Bathroom Pods: monolithic concrete or steel lightweight panels bathroom pods. The choice is related to the needs of the specific site (such as weights etc). Internal appearance and services are identical.
