Read the following pages to find out how to clean and care for your new KWC faucet precisely, where and when it needs it and what you should bear in mind. After all, you will want to enjoy the benefits it offers for a long time to come.

Fig. 1 – P lease ensure that the surface of your KWC faucet has cooled down before cleaning (clean at room temperature).
–P lease follow the usage and safety instructions provided by the manufacturer of the cleaning agent.
– Use a soft cloth (e.g. a microfibre cloth) to dry the faucet after every use.
– ( Fig. 1) Use a cloth to apply the cleaning agent (never spray directly on the faucet).
–D o not use aggressive cleaning agents – only mild, pH-neutral (6.5–7.5) detergents.
–D escaling is an aggressive process for faucets, so you should only do this when and where it is needed.
Please wash the faucet thor oughly with clean water after using any cleaning chemicals, then dry it with a soft cloth (e.g. a microfiber cloth). – D o not use acidic or caustic cleaning agents or abrasive sponges.

Keep your KWC faucet in good condition
Wash the faucet thoroughly with clean water after using any cleaning chemicals.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or tools –N o scratching of the surface
Frequent care – H elps prevent calcification or other residue buildup – Results in a hygienic faucet – Keeps the flow of water pleasantly soft
Do not use degreasing agents or too much cleaning agent – I f cleaning agent penetrates from the outside, it damages the inside of the product (seals, O -rings, cartridge). – T he food-safe lubrication required to ensure that the faucet operates correctly can be dissolved and flushed out by the cleaning agent.

Pull-out hoses Apply 2 ml of a silicone liquid onto a non-woven cloth (Fig. 1). Pull out the pull-out hose and apply the liquid evenly along the length of the hose (Fig. 2).
If the pull-out hose is pulled out 5 × per day, an application of the liquid every 6–8 months is sufficient. Repeat the applica tion if required.
Faceplates with turn and clean (tac) and kitchen spray nozzles Thanks to the tac system, the faceplate can be dismantled for cleaning by simply turning it, with no tools required. Lime deposits on the raised spray nozzles can be broken with your thumb or the palm of your hand before being wiped or washed off. Clean spray nozzles regularly with a mixture of vinegar and water.

Shower heads Shower head faceplates cannot be dismantled for cleaning. For cleaning instructions, please refer to the instructions for silicone surfaces or for anti-scale raised spray nozzles.
Silicone surfaces Use only mild cleaning agents to remove spots of dirt and limescale from silicone surfaces. Do not use acidic or caustic cleaning agents or abrasive sponges. Ensure that any cleaning agent residue is washed off with cold water and use a soft cloth (e.g. a microfibre cloth) to dry silicone surfaces. Note: Keep hair dye products away from silicone surfaces.
