Day 7 - Xian to Suzhou Fly to Shanghai then travel by road to Suzhou, visiting Tongli, the ancient canal town enroute. Stay two nights at the Garden Hotel in Suzhou, a city famous for its exquisite gardens and traditional canal living. (B,L,D)
Day 8 - Suzhou Cruise on the Grand Canal, learn about silk production and see highly skilled textile work at a silk factory. Visit the classical Lingering Garden. (B,L,D)
Day 9 - Suzhou to Shanghai Day 6 - Xian Today you will see another amazing sight; the Terracotta Warriors and Horses still standing in battle formation as placed 2000 years ago. Included is a full circle movie presentation providing the historical perspective for the main exhibition halls where excavation and restoration work is on going. Later visit the remains of the 6,000 year old Banpo Village. This evening try a Dumpling Banquet and see the colourful Tang Dance Show. (B,L,D)
