The uniqueness of the limestone mountain landscape makes Guilin one of China’s best known holiday destinations. Famous poets and painters have lived and worked there, and the area has been popular for sightseeing for over 1000 years. On this tour we will take you on a cruise of the unforgettable Li River with photo opportunities at every turn, give you a chance to bargain in the market town of Yangshuo, or perhaps cycle through the surrounding verdant farmlands.

Day 3 - Li River Cruise
You will be met on arrival at Guilin airport and transferred to your hotel. On the drive from the airport you will begin to see some of the limestone mountains for which the area is famous. Stay two nights in Guilin.
Spend the morning on a boat cruise on the tranquil Li River. You will surely be inspired by the breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, and serene pastoral scenes of rice paddies, bamboo groves and water buffaloes. After lunch onboard, disembark at the market town of Yangshuo. After checking in at your hotel for a two night stay, the remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the town. (B,L,D)

Visit the town of Da Xu where life seems untouched by modern times.
