Myth-Snoring is not harmful for the health Fact- Snoring is very common in males and it is treated as a minor issue. Snoring is itself a symptom of sleeping problem known as sleep apnea. When a person suffers from the condition, he may have many pauses in breathing the time he is sleeping peacefully. These pauses do not allow blood getting proper oxygen and circumstances to flow smoothly in the body. As a result, the problem later comes up as hypertension, stroke, and other heart diseases.
