Steve Johnson

I was born in Wichita, Kansas. After Dad got home from The Navy , We moved to the Minneapolis area, (Richfield, Hopkins and Minnetonka Township. I attended St. Joseph's Elementary School. In about 1955 we moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. By then dad was a corporate tax lawyer, so we were pretty well off. By then, there were 8 of us. 6 kids, Me, Pam, Tim, Kevin,Patty & Penni. I attended St Mathews Elementary School. By then I actually had my first Date , Pat Long to a dance in the 8th grade. After a few months at Washington Senior High in 1961, we moved again to Richardson,Texas at 1220 Cherokee Drive. Those were the good times! We were all relatively popular - plenty of friends and activity. I attended Richardson High School until April 26th 1964. I joined the Navy. After 13 weeks of "Fun in The Sun" Boot Camp in San Diego I was transferred to Treasure Island , San Francisco . I studied electronics for 40 weeks. Pretty rough for a non-scholar.
