TROMBONE
Thomas Ly is an active performer and music educator based in Austin, Texas. Hailing from Columbia, Mississippi, he has performed with a number of professional groups such as the Meridian Symphony Orchestra and the Mississippi Symphony and Opera. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Music Education and Trombone Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi and is currently completing his Master of Trombone Performance at the University of Texas at Austin. He also showcases his musical passion through teaching where he has a private trombone studio of his own in the Austin ISD area.
Amber Minich is a trombonist from Murrieta, California currently working on an undergraduate degree in Trombone Performance at UT Austin, studying under Dr. Nathaniel Brickens. While at UT Austin, Amber has performed with the UT Trombone Choir, winners of the 2023 International Trombone Association Remington Trombone Choir Competition. During her career as a performer, she has performed under the direction of Jerry Junkin, Carl St. Clair, Dale Warren, and Patrick Sheridan. Amber has experience teaching and playing both trombone and euphonium, in styles ranging from small bore jazz to orchestral tenor trombone.

A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, bass trombonist Stefan Stolarchuk has been a member of TFO since 2012. He holds degrees in trombone performance from Bowling Green State University, and the University of Michigan. Known for his versatility, Stefan has performed with orchestras across Michigan, including the Flint, Midland, West Michigan, Rochester, and Ann Arbor Symphonies. He is also a frequent jazz performer in the Detroit area, and has toured with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan players, and serves on the faculty of Saginaw Valley State University. Stefan lives in East Lansing with his lovely wife, and TFO violist, Dilek Engin Stolarchuk.
