I live with Asperger and Arrested Development Disorders, which means that I have various autistic characteristics but can still function in society, and that my emotional development is about at the level of an early teenager. I suppose that can also mean that I'm a kid in a 40-something body with a lot of strange ways of dealing with life to others who aren't aware of my condition (including annual passes to Disney World). I'm privileged to be able to work in an environment that best uses my aptitude with numbers and data and to have a supervisor who understands my condition and is able to act as a "filter" between me and those who don't always understand the way I do things. I live in Plant City, Florida—a small town along the “I-4 Corridor” between Tampa and Lakeland on the way toward Orlando, one of the three incorporated communities here in Hillsborough County. My city is famous for the fact that just over 3/4 of the winter strawberries sold in the United States are grown and shipped from here. Ou
