Contract Managers can now convert L4 Certificate to Diploma
If you are a licensed asbestos removal contract manager who achieved an RSPH Level 4 Certificate within the last five years, you can now convert this to the RSPH Level 4 Diploma.
To successfully complete the conversion, contract managers need to pass two written exams to verify their knowledge and understanding of two specific elements of a manager’s role in asbestos removal projects, and also provide evidence of completion of the licensed contract manager update course for each of the last three years. Don’t miss the next exam dates in December. Further details are available in the qualification section at www.arca.org.uk
Registered with the CITB? Don’t miss out on funding for training and NVQs
Talk to ARCA…
If you have operatives and supervisors who need an NVQ, ask ARCA what the best route to gaining this qualification would be for each candidate.
Then ARCA can support you, with information on costs and timings, to help you complete a funding application for the next 12 months.
You could receive funds to cover all or most of the cost for your staff to gain NVQs!
The team at ARCA are here to help you - don’t miss out on funding you could be eligible for.
ARCA is here to help…
This year ARCA has already helped members secure over £16,000 in funding.
Did you know this equates to approx 22 experienced operatives* taking an NVQ!
With COVID-19 restrictions slowly lifting and member companies getting back to a new normal, it is important to understand what funding is available.

Additional site audits for members
On the 1st July, ARCA took another step to support members as asbestos removal contractors got back to work following the ease of COVID-19 restrictions, by accepting requests for additional site audits.
An additional audit was actually carried out on 1st July and many more members have taken the opportunity over the last few months.
Members can request the Association to carry out site audits, in addition to the three membership audits, to support their auditing programme. As these audits follow the same criteria as the ARCA membership audits there is a consistent form of measurement and they provide a further quality control mechanism to help keep standards high.
Also, members don’t forget you can request ARCA to organise additional audits by arrangement, whereby the member can ask for a specific site to be audited, or unannounced, whereby the member has no prior notice of an audit
Further information on additional audits and how to book one is available in the support section at www.arca.org.uk
