Our relationship with ARCA will now be in the name of Specialist Risk Group, the parent company of Miles Smith and Specialist Risk Insurance Solutions. Specialist Risk Insurance Solutions was formed by merging specialist retail insurance brokers Miles Smith Insurance Solutions, Square Mile The rebrand of Miles Smith to Broking and TUE Special Risks.

Specialist Risk and how this benefits ARCA members

For many years we have been well known in the asbestos industry as Miles Smith, and we have been the appointed insurance broker to ARCA members for over 30 years. In July, we made some changes to our Group structure to further enhance our product and service offering.

This expert team will be on-hand to support ARCA members with all their insurance and risk management requirements and your key point of contact, John Madden, will remain the same.

Furthermore, we will continue to provide ARCA members with access to the Miles Smith asbestos scheme which offers robust cover and exclusive benefits, ensuring your business is suitably protected.

Our rapid business growth at Specialist Risk Group has given us the opportunity to combine the history in the brands merged to create Specialist Risk Insurance Solutions with our future strategy, enabling us to provide further value to clients working within specialist sectors.

We are governed by our mantra “Difficult. Done Well.” and specialise in placing difficult risks that not all brokers have the capability of placing. Although we have changed our name, you can be assured that you are still working with the same specialist team, who have many years of experience in arranging bespoke insurance programmes for the asbestos industry.
