About I was born in Lisbon and have lived most of my life by the sea on the shoreline of Cascais, in the small parish of Carcavelos. Early I discovered the pleasure of painting and drawing and by the time to choose the secondary education’s area, Visual Arts was a natural decision. Being an architect hasn’t been my desire since childhood. But somehow architecture attracted me as a challenge. When I realised that it wouldn’t be just a profession but more like a way of living, a multi dimensional field that would constantly teach me a new perspective over the places and over all the concrete and abstract matters that relate
to them, I was sure I made the right choice. Studying architecture, over these past years, made me refine my curiosity for humanities, urban planning, landscape and interior architecture, design, materials, structures and photography, and turned travelling and discovering new cultures into my favourite hobby. I believe architecture to be a demanding but inspiring world, as it combines, between others, hard work, creativity, versatility and constant learning, leading to an intellectual and personal rewarding experience. I am now willing to prove it in the professional field.
