WHO I AM.

WHO I AM. I am a designer. I think. Sometimes I over think. I ask questions and constantly self-editing. I watch documentaries, TV shows and read about every random thing I can get my hands on as it all intrigues me—it all becomes part of my arsenal of knowledge and thought. I go to gallery events and conferences, or even just walk the streets of the city because my mind craves social interaction. I love talking, and most of all, inspiring a lively conversation. I am from New Jersey and as child I can remember dreaming of running away to Manhattan—even as a child I loved being in the middle of madness. It's a place where I thrive. I have now realized it's my mind at work craving the challenge—to make sense out of the chaos around me. I am a designer. I grew up with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). After years of trying to fit a triangle peg, into a hexagonal hole; I have found my place in this world. My mind allows me to brainstorm in a flurry of thoughts, images and concepts with avid enthusiasm. I run loops and circles, touching corners of ideas most people avoid, only to come back and find the answer. I am non-linear. After years of not being OK with ADD, I see it now as my greatest strength as a designer and ultimately as a creative problem solver.

NOVEMBER 11 – 13 2012 Our society is dependent on oil and the petrochemical industry. It reaches deeply into our everyday life. So what happens when we hit Peak Oil and our society's infrastructure crumbles? Peak Oil is the point when we will no longer discover any new oil reserves on the planet. From that point forward we will be in a pattern of decline. This means that as we come down the back side of the bell curve the prices of oil will sky rocket. Governments will restrict a large quantity of oil in order to keep emergency vehicles, military and other government serves. The biggest hit will be that there be no fuel in order to ship goods and food into major city centers. There will be a point that we will all be given the option of what direction to take in the face of this impending social collapse. The duality of man kind will be obvious as some decide to take the Positive Path while others take the Negative Path.
