Communities and the social landscape have inspired artists worldwide for many centuries. Community provides support and allows us to share commonalities within a social unit. This has resonance now more than ever. As a College community we regularly come together to celebrate and participate in various events, in our day to day learning
environment, in Chapel and at various festivals including Rugby and the Arts. In these unusual times, we use technology to come together as a school community. The UK comes together as a national community to pay tribute to carers and the NHS, 'Clap for our Carers' every Thursday at 8pm.
Some of our artists have captured these themes within their art work. This competition was open to all ages throughout the College and the response was fantastic. We have brought together work from all of the artists in one special publication.
Congratulations to all our young artists - your work and creativity never cease to inspire and amaze us.

We live and breathe the Arts here at St Joseph’s College. We have proudly been part of the Artsmark for 14 years. The College is committed to the Arts and the Arts underpin everyday life at the College. Every child has the opportunity to experience the Arts first-hand, working with professional artists, collaborating with other schools, watching live professional works and participating in high quality Arts projects. Poetry, Music, Fine Art, Photography, Drama, Dance, Literature are just a few of the art forms regularly enjoyed by our pupils.
Congratulations to all our young artists who have contributed to this publication
