Welcome St Joseph’s College is a traditional British independent school for boys and girls of 3 to 18. Whilst the majority of students are from the United Kingdom, the College also welcomes international students from across the world, including France, Spain, Germany, Sri Lanka, UAE, Fiji, Russia, Nigeria, China, Taiwan and Malaysia. Facilities St Joseph’s is situated on a beautiful, 60 acre green campus, with space for students to live and learn in a safe and stimulating environment. Boarding There are two boarding houses, both located on the College campus:
Goldrood House: This Listed Georgian mansion houses boys in single, twin and triple rooms. Goldrood has a laundry, kitchen, study room, TV lounge and games room. There is outdoor table-tennis and a basketball court immediately adjacent. The Head of Goldrood is resident in the boarding house.
The Mews: The Mews offers single rooms in two separate sections for boys and girls. Students have access to a kitchen/dining area, social room, TV and games room and a study area. The Head of The Mews is resident in the boarding house. The overall Head of Boarding lives adjacent to Goldrood and The Mews with her family. There are no exeat weekends at St Joseph’s and boarding accommodation is available throughout each school term. During school holidays, the College can provide host parents and during February and May half-terms, the College offers ‘Boarding Plus’ accommodation for international students to stay on campus. This is particularly useful for those students who wish to revise for examinations.
Catering The College has a team of award-winning chefs who prepare fresh food daily for breakfast, lunch and supper. Both British and international cuisine is prepared, with themed days and evenings to add an extra dimension.

Location St Joseph’s College is located in the market town of Ipswich in the south-east of England. It has excellent transport links, with easy access to London and Cambridge - both just an hour away by train. Ipswich railway station is five minutes from the school.
