Description
3
This natural classical garden design is base on the linkage of two entrances and restroom. Landscape nodes are developed on it. Water, as the virtual spirit, main focus and viewing points are setting around it, which is the symbol of the actual-virtual combination in Chinese traditional gardening guide.
2
The narrow path enclosed by lush trees lead visitors to a big viewing deck, as the beginning of the whole trip. Open lawn on the southwest provide a good place to relax. After 3 steps down, the branch path is more close to the water and also linked a shortcut to the other side. Reaching the marble boat, the biggest structure on the garden, visitors come to the climax of the trip. Before the leaving, the pavilion on the 3-meterhigh mound enables visitor to see the scenery on the peak. The fan-shape deck with feature wall is a node of the trip ending.

Site Condition& Brief
The roof gardent, restoring, supposedly, the area of ground coverd by the house. ——Le Corbusier

This roof is on the top of my apartment, Shenzhen city centre, south of China. My neighbours grew flower at first while they are growing vegetable now, under the serious food security problem and high inflation background in China. Lots of confilcts are happening on this small and old low-rise. This conceptual design show the current situation and optimizing accrodingly in order to maxmize the area utilization rate and meet neighbours' requirments as well.

How To Divide Requirement Diagram
A three-person family need 1kg vegetable per day. Generally, 1kg vegetable, for example the lettuce, often grow up within one month in 2 movable standard planting boxes,0.54m2. That means 17m2 growing area can provide vegetables continually for a family, which grow 31kg, using 63 box. Refering to the 2010 chinese population census, about 10% people retired. So, averagely, 8 families(80 families live in this building) are available to take care of vegetables.

Planting Divide Plan Currently
Expected
This divide was made by resident families spontaneously. 8 families are planting and developing now. Referring to the theory above, I divide 8 17-square-meter areas. Now, they try this model to set their planting boxes, and I hope that their will reach the balance.
