BOEING COMPOSITE TECHNICIAN

Training prepares individuals for aircraft assembly techniques focused on composite fabrication, assembly and repair. Program graduates receive an interview with Boeing.
BOEING SHEET METAL ASSEMBLER AND RIVETER

Develop the important technical skills and the soft skills, like teamwork and communication, that Boeing seeks. Graduates are guaranteed an interview for the Sheet Metal Assembler Riveter position with Boeing.
INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Training provides hands-on instruction in topics including: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical Systems and Electrical Systems.
PRECISION MACHINING TECHNICIAN

Students prepare for entry-level jobs in the machine tool trade. Students safely set up and operate milling machines, lathes, grinders and drill presses in addition to learning the basics of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine set up and operation.

ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION TECHNICIAN

Training prepares participants for positions in hazardous waste clean-up, including OSHA certifications and licensing in lead and asbestos abatement.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Training provides hands-on instruction in topics including: Blueprint Reading, HVAC (including EPA certification), Welding, Plumbing/Pipefitting and Basic Electrical.
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TECHNICIAN WITH TRUCK DRIVER CLASS B (CDL-B) stlcc.edu/HazmatTech
This program prepares students to assess and clean up contaminated properties in the St. Louis Metropolitan area as well as other remediation sites nationwide.
HVAC OPERATOR I TECHNICIAN

Hands-on technical training teaches maintenance and troubleshooting for forced air systems and the basics on how the systems and control boards work. Coursework prepares students for the EPA certification exam (included in the course).
CERTIFIED WELDER

Training in a variety of career tracks— ranging from entry-level welder to boilermaker to pipefitter to pipeliner.
TRANSPORTATION
TRUCK DRIVER CLASS A (CDL-A)

This program prepares students to enter the commercial driving industry as an over-the-road truck driver.
COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVER
CLASS B (CDL-B)

Students are taught to drive smaller company trucks under 26,000 lbs. including dump trucks, garbage trucks and box trucks, in this 56 hour program.
HEALTH CARE
CENTRAL STERILE PROCESSING TECHNICIAN

Training prepares BJC HealthCare employees to clean, decontaminate, sterilize and distribute medical and surgical instrumentation. Students will earn the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) credential. To be considered, apply for any open BJC Sterile Processing position.
COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER

Training prepares students to work in health care and social service organizations, helping individuals and communities adopt healthy behaviors. Graduates are eligible for the Community Health Worker credential through the Missouri Credentialing Board.
MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Training prepares individuals for clerical and clinical tasks in a medical office. Students will earn Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and Healthcare Provider BLS credentials.
PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN
stlcc.edu/PCT
Individuals are trained for entry-level positions as patient care technicians in local hospitals. Students will earn Healthcare Provider BLS credential. Coursework meets UAP guidelines through Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

ADULT EDUCATION AND LITERACY

The Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) program offers both Adult Basic Education/High School Equivalency and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to the school districts of Affton, Bayless, Kirkwood, Lindbergh, MehlvilleOakville, St. Louis City, Valley Park and Webster Groves.
ADULT BASIC EDUCATION offers preparation to take the Missouri Test of High School Equivalence and remedial work in subjects such as mathematics, reading and writing.
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)
Designed to improve the English language skills of recent immigrants to the United States or other non-native speakers.
FASTTRACK H i SET

The STLCC FastTrack HiSET program helps out-of-school adults achieve high school equivalency quickly. Unlike traditional GED/ HiSET classes, the FastTrack program achieves success through immediate enrollment, flexible hours and a curriculum tailored to each student. HiSET testing scholarships and bus tickets are available for qualified applicants.
