LETTER RIP

MY #WALKAWAY COLUMN Dear Readers,

instead of killing the vice president.

That’s it. I’ve had it. I’m walking away.

A divided country remained for most of Johnson’s tenure as President. In 1868 Republicans impeached Johnson and his case went before the U.S. Senate for trial. Sound suspiciously familiar? Luckily for the union, Johnson was acquitted and stayed in office for the rest of his term.

I’m dead serious, but not in the way that you think. I am not walking away from the Democratic Party. I’m not walking away from the Republican Party. I’m ditching both.

It might just be me, but having been on the outside looking in and being free of major party loyalty for all these years, I see the pattern. OWN YOUR GREATNESS

“Life Coaching?” So, what is life coaching?

This is the question I get asked the most often. What do we actually do? How can we help, and what is the process? First, let me introduce myself. My name is Debbie Warren, I am the founder of “Own Your Greatness” Life Coaching. I hold my certification of completion in Life Coaching, as well as Anxiety Therapy. Furthermore, I have additional training in nutrition, interpersonal communication, counseling and psychology. I believe in order to be at our best, it is imperative that we feed and nourish the three parts of us that make us a whole person. Our physical self, our emotional self and our spiritual self. When one of these is off, it does indeed affect the others. For it is a fact, if you have a weakened link, then the chain itself becomes susceptible to breaking. Life coaching is about taking our past experiences, both good and bad, and using them to better ourselves. We do this in order to make ourselves more compassionate human beings. It can then leave us open to understanding and change. Remember, our past does not have to define us, rather we have the power to use it to make us better, stronger individuals for ourselves and others. It is about teaching you to be solely responsible for actions and reactions. It is also about setting goals and reaching them. In doing so, we must learn how to break down roadblocks, both emotional and physical that prevent us from reaching our goals. We need to feed our bodies, our minds, as well our spirituality in such a way that we as a whole are connected and at our healthiest.

Statistics show an alarming number of people suffer from anxiety and depression. It is normal to have emotional setbacks as situations occur in everyday life. Unfortunately, there are many that suffer alone and in silence. This is not necessary, as there are healthy alternatives and solutions. It is important for each of us to have a support mechanism in place as we go through these experiences or setbacks. This is especially true as we may be too overwhelmed to see it ourselves. I would like to utilize this publication as an informational support exchange and open public forum, for the readers. I would like to close with a quick lesson in ‘Relationship Coaching.’ 1. You cannot fight someone else’s demons for them. Strength comes to us when we conquer those fears ourselves. It is then that we can then empower ourselves. 2. We are responsible for the things we say and do to others. Not only as an action, but as a reaction as well. Finally, do not blame others for the choices you make, they are yours to make. Think, examine and really look at what you are about to say. How will it affect those that will hear it, or even see it. I challenge everyone to be gentle, kind and understanding of each other. We were created to love and support each other. Please visit my Facebook page @ownyourgr8tness. I would love to get feedback and help in any way I can. Isn’t it time to “Own Your Greatness”?

cord, I got a chance to sit down with Japheth Campbell, a Springfield based entrepreneur and internet marketing professional, who is the Missouri Libertarian Party’s candidate for United States Senate, facing incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill and Republican Attorney General Josh Hawley. Campbell received nearly 5,400 votes in his primary, which beat all previous Libertarian races, even contested ones, since 1994. This success also came on the coattails of him asking his supporters to vote for the GOP U. S. Senatorial candidate Austin Petersen so that there would be two liberty candidates on the November ballot “Since [the primary], we’ve had people coming and checking us out. Liking our page, following us on Twitter. We’ve seen comments all over the place saying, ‘hey I support this guy’,” exclaimed the candidate. “We’re really trying to communicate with those people and get volunteers.” The campaign is using this momentum to start getting representatives for areas around Missouri to do phone banking and speaking to people. Using his experience in internet marketing, Campbell plans to utilize his social media presence to create content that will engage voters and spread his platform before going door-to-door and doing more public engagements in October. What is a Libertarian? Campbell believes that “a Libertarian is shrinking the government, keeping the government out of people’s lives, people being independent to live their lives the way they want to live

August’s primary displayed that there are a troves of citizens unsatisfied with the “establishment” picks due to the number of candidates vying for the major party’s spots and voter turnout being the highest it’s been since the last four senate primaries.. Rumor has it that even GOP candidate Tony Monetti is considering not endorsing Josh Hawley. “Most of the time [the other Republican candidates] endorse the [winning] candidate, so that’s very interesting. To me that shows that people still don’t want Josh Hawley, when even the candidates say they aren’t going to endorse him,” Campbell responded. The candidate hopes to reach out to these voters who don’t like either pick explaining “They’re against Josh Hawley, but they’re scared that if they don’t vote for [him], they’ll get Claire McCaskill and so that’s where we’ve got to help people understand that if everyone who’s against him and against Claire rally around someone else, that person might win.” Voters can find more information on Japheth Campbell at www.Campbell4Liberty.com.

Mobile Lighting Source was originally incubated at an manufacturing plant in the Rio Grande Valley, McAllen Texas. Founder Eric Tryon was working along side two of his uncles when they decided to leave Texas and return home to St. Louis. It was here that they began Federal Fire, a service company that inspects fire equipment for companies both large and small. In 1993 Mobile Lighting Source (MLS) spun off from Federal Fire as Tryon saw a need to focus on lighting. Federal Fire continued as originally planned: focusing on making sure fire extinguishers were functioning and ready at a moments notice. Over the next decade with a lot of trial and error, Tryon pushed MLS forward, moving from just lighting exchanges to also sign designs. “We started with simple lighting like you see in a office and you could reach them

from the ground, then there was a need for us to be in the air for parking lot lights and then that sequed into signs. We discovered a huge industry in lighting and we have been there through all the transition,” Tryon explained. “LED has been around since the 1940’s. And since 2015, LED’s product promise and price lined up. Everyone is now aware that you should not have old traditional conventional lighting and that LED is the way to go.” Tryon admits that his company is competing with a lot of factors. “We started LED conversions in 2003. So we were the one of the first, if not the first, to convert a channel letter sign. That particular customer had a thirty to forty channel letter sign that we converted from neon to LED.” His customer’s neon sign had about ten transformers just sucking energy.

“Old technology is like the old horse and buggy as compared to a car, sucking energy and was always burning up. So we had discovered LED modules and convinced the store owner to change his sign from neon to LED.” “We had a learning curve, but ten years after we installed that neon to LED conversion, the owner was moving and changing the name of his business. We found that over the hundreds of modules we originally installed, about 98% of those were still working great ten years later.” With the LED lighting market leading the field in luminosity, in energy savings as well as price. There is no real need to go cheap. You always get what you pay for. Give Mobile Lighting Source a call and see how Tryon and company can help your company save money and repair costs. COVER STORY giants and tech companies, are “normal.” This form of denial, “normalizing” the abnormal, exalting the idiot, mistaking clownishness for hidden genius, very hidden genius, is in itself a disease, a weakness, a failing and a threat to the survival of the human species. It is no secret that the world itself and certainly the United States is ruled by economic elites whose positions are entirely inherited, elites with a stranglehold on political and economic life. Their origins, the banking families of Europe’s Middle Ages or the “Robber Barons” of the 19th century, perhaps the shipping families that carried opium and slaves, those and more, have left America with an elite ruling class that has long demonstrated moral depravity. Through social manipulation this group, that controlled the eugenics movement during the 20s and 30s, has learned that they don’t need to use selective breeding to create slaves, but that it can be done through the education system which they control through foundations and think tanks.

AMERICA: TYRANNY OF THE STUPID People around the world are convinced that the United States is a nation run by criminal psychopaths and morons. A greater fear is that world leaders mistakenly assume that their American counterparts who do and say insane things continually are, in actuality, normal people operating inside some “master plan.”

If you ask an average American what their IQ is, they are quick to answer. Invariably they will say, “140” or more. Yet, when you look at American society, at America’s culture, the idea of a nation of Mensa types is unrealistic. Americans aren’t much more stupid than other people, just much more dangerous. Truth is, the average American has an IQ of around 96. It used to be 100, the number established as a “mean.” About 40% of Americans run between 60 and 85, enough to function at basic levels but with intelligence low enough to impair higher functions such as judgment and critical reasoning.

In Britain, of course, “idiots,” and the quotes are out of kindness because “idiot” is a real term with a real definition and applies quite nicely, go to Eaton, then Oxford or Cambridge. Where it comes to play in America is the manner those of limited capability are channeled into military command, into government, into teaching positions even in universities and into the White House itself.

To an extent, it is demonstrable that the Nazi reign of terror was financed and engineered by America’s elites, the Bush, Harriman, Rockefeller, Farish and Walker families partnered with Hitler and IG Farben. Auschwitz was one of their efforts and what began as eugenics became mass murder under Hitler only to reappear as “Google” and “Facebook” decades later. In between, foundations rewrote history, recreated a “dumbed down” education system and society. In American government, congress walled itself in with rules that stifled change and debate, gave all control of the few, committee heads from remote and backward districts who ruled America on behalf of ruling elites for generations.

Key to keeping it all working has been the reengineering of every institution to favor the “morally flexible” of limited Thus, real talent, “brilliance” as it were, intelligence, a nation of semi-literate legislators, doctors, judges, law enis replaced by “cleverness” and even various forms of moral deficiency on the forcement officials, college professors, admirals and generals and even captains spectrum of social psychopathy. of industry. Behind it all is the fake narrative, an endless droning of jingoism and phony patriotism, of exceptionalism and behind that is always fear. To an extent, technology itself is the enemy. A century ago, when America was a burgeoning industrial giant, teeming millions worked in factories. The hierarchy there wasn’t so much factory owners or thuggish supervisors, Ford Motor Company actually hired violent felons to oversee workers. It took real talent, even brilliance, to design tools, create innovations, improve processes, all of which was done by real elites among the working classes. Whoever may have thought they were “in charge,” without tool and die makers nothing happened. With all of that gone, CAD systems, robotics, a world of devices and “apps,” an America with fake universities giving out fake degrees, a military that passes out fake medals to fake heroes by the score who fight equally fake wars, whatever remained of a natural elite, an “offset” as it were, has disappeared.

The Blue Stones then went onto giving highlighted performances at Northern Invasion, Winnetka Music Festival, and the highly coveted Bonnaroo Festival. Listening to the larger-than-life, but tight and precise blues-rock of The Blue Stones on their eOne debut, Black Holes, it is astonishing to discover all that sound and fury is created by just two people. Guitarist/vocalist/lyricist Tarek Jafar and percussionist/backing vocalist Justin Tessier have known each other since meeting as kids. But it wasn’t until attending university together that they decided to combine their talents into a musical project. “The album’s about being a young adult and entering the real world from a sheltered environment, like college,” explains

Jafar. “Feeling torn between taking the secure path or doing something that might be riskier, but you’re passionate about… following what you love as opposed to sticking to the straight and narrow.” “We play blues-rock, though it’s not loose and dirty,” explains Tessier. “It’s lean, raw, tight, without a wasted note.” With the release of Black Holes, The Blue Stones are ready to raise the stakes and turn up the heat.

FAKE ASTROLOGY

HOW THIS WEEK’S ASTROLOGY PAIRS YOU WITH A 70’S TELEVISION CHARACTER by Chris Alvarez

Aries (Mar. 21 - April 20) - Aries, this week you will find yourself calm, cool and collected. Much like your tie-in character Vinnie Barbarino (played by John Travolta in Welcome Back Mr. Kotter), nothing is going to ruffle your feathers because of the ongoing fear of a backhand slap. Regardless, you are well liked no matter how hapless you may be perceived.

this week as you put on the persona of Danny Bonaduce’s Danny Partridge; you know the Partridge family scene stealer who thinks that a bass guitar should be strummed and not plucked. Trust me; any ruse you put forward is going to get you into more trouble than you would want to bargain for.

Taurus (Apr. 21 - May 21) - Taurus, this week you are going to take things in stride with a lot of innocence and a tad bit more zaniness than you are probably use to. This is a good thing. You needed to let your hair down for a long time. So don’t be surprised if you find yourself channeling Mork (Robin Williams character from Mork & Mindy) in your on-again off-again relationships.

Leo (July 23 - Aug 22) - Leo, somehow you thought that you were going to be blessed with some 70’s era cop or doctor from a medical show. No such luck, peanut. This week is a far stretch for you in reality as you are going to tie-in with a 70’s Saturday morning cartoon character who thinks nothing of dropping the shoeshine gig, putting on a cape and flying through the air to beat up bad guys. Not a bad gig for someone who will be mimicking Underdog all week.

Gemini (May 22 - June 21) - Gemini, you are the captain of your own ship this week and romance is near. Your 70’s tie-in is Gavin MacLeod’s as Captain Merril Stubing of the Love Boat. Nothing this week will deter you from finding that special someone or helping someone find their special someone.

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 23) - Virgo, you knew this was coming. You still have the habit of reading other horoscopes in order to see how yours compares. Well Colombo, keep looking. The answer you are looking for will be found, you just need to maintain your focus and continue to press on until you discover the truth.

Cancer (June 22 - July 22) - Cancer, A little mischief will find its way to you

tie-in, we just don’t know which one of the seven Not Ready For Prime Time Players you are. You could be a Jane Curtin, a Chevy Chase or even a Garrett Morris. Obviously you are going to pick one of those five still with us as you are going to need to be alive to deal with all the crap coming down your way. Keep the humor going. It’ll help you get out of some hairy situations this week. Scorpio (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22) - Scorpio, you are caught between two extremes like a middle child. Let’s pick one, say, Jan Brady. Cry “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia” all you want, it’ll never change the fact that you are not the older experienced child nor are you the young impressionable one. You are just there. Like a space between two words. No worries though, this is just a phase and it’ll be all over come next week.

Sagittarius (Nov. 23 -Dec. 21) Sagittarius, you’re a drama queen but not just any drama queen (or drama king if you’re a dude) You are Mary Hartman, the soap opera parody character. No one really takes you seriously even though you are about as dramatic as those other folks on Dallas, Falcon Crest or Dynasty. Sometimes, the act follows you, sometimes, you Libra (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23) - Libra, a late follow the act. Either way, no one’s night peacock network show is your buying into it and will probably wait it

out to see if you gain clarity of mind. Capricorn (Dec 22.- Jan. 20) Capricorn, whether you are the life of the party or putting on the Life of Brian, one of the members of the British Comedy troupe Monty Python will be your spirit guide this week. So, put away your lupins, stop arguing, and don’t perform any strange Broadway in a court room, unless you want to be hauled away as if you were a loony! Aquarius (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19) - Aquarius, you and Pisces are sharing a pair of characters from the same 70’s television show, The Odd Couple. Either character could be considered good or bad. You ended up with Felix Unger (played by Tony Randall) the neat freak. I’ll repeat, you are the neat freak this week. You are going to get your life in order, clean house, wash the car and get on everyone nerves all at the same time. Neat trick, if you survive the week. Pisces (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20) - Pisces, on the flip side (see Aquarius), you are Oscar Madison (the “other” odd couple character played by Jack Klugman), your “heaven may care” attitude is endearing to some with the exception of those closest to you who secretly wish that you’d get a life.
