Giving Priorities

The Annual Fund: Make an Immediate Impact

The Annual Fund is the foundation of philanthropy at St. Luke’s. Gifts to the Annual Fund account for 6% of the operating budget and help to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of providing a St. Luke’s education.

Your Annual Fund gift makes a difference, supporting programs and resources such as:

• Signature programs including the designLab and our four Scholars programs: Classical, Global, Literary, and STEM

• Educational Support Services

• Student productions, clubs, and athletic competitions

• Competitive salaries, benefits, and professional development opportunities to attract and retain exceptional faculty

The Senior Gift: Celebrate with Purpose

The Senior Gift is an annual St. Luke’s tradition where families make a special gift in honor of their graduate. As you make your way around campus, you can see the fields, classrooms, athletic facilities, and gathering spaces that were made possible thanks to the generosity of prior senior classes. We are all the beneficiaries of those who came before us.

Each Senior Gift:

• Meets a strategic need of the school

• Represents the senior class in a meaningful way

• Provides an enduring reminder of the graduates' time on the Hilltop

Endowed Funds: Ensure the Future

Endowed funds help to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of St. Luke’s School. Whether established to launch a new program, honor a beloved community member, or preserve a unique aspect of the St. Luke’s experience, endowments provide a source of dependable revenue, helping us weather the storms and plan confidently for the future.

St. Luke’s endowed funds support:

• Faculty chair positions

• Financial aid & scholarships

• Named awards

• Faculty professional development opportunities

• The school’s operating budget (unrestricted endowments)
