St. Moritz Art Masters 2013 August 23 - September 1, 2013 St. Moritz Art Masters celebrated its 6th anniversary. The unique festival linked art with the region and its natural surroundings. The WALK OF ART connected over 30 exhibitions from Maloja to S-chanf. This year’s national focus was “China” and we welcomed artists such as Liu Heung Shing, Jungjin Lee, Ai Weiwei, Shao Fan, Fang Lijun, Shi Jinsing, Su-Mei Tse and Tchan Fau Li who presented their works throughout the Engadin. This year’s Artist Talks gave the opportunity to get an insight from artists like Jungjin Lee, Shao Fan, as well as the photographers Bruno Ehrs, Hans Georg Esch, Mimmo Jodice, Paolo Solari Bozzi, Liu Heung Shing, Steve McCurry and Amedeo M.Turello. The Chesa Planta in Zuoz showed “A Collective from Sichuan” presented by Artalliance and Yang Shu, curator of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. The exhibition gave an introduction to the present art scene in Sichuan and young artists like Wang Haichuan, Li Yi Fan and Yang Mian. The St. Moritz Art Masters Foundation Charity Night took place at the Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in honor of Claude Nobs where Marialy Pacheco & Band from Montreux Jazz enchanted the guests.
