Adaptor Couplings (35-420mm diameter) Drain Pipe Connection and Repair - Designed for connecting drainage pipes of differing materials and outside diameters
Introduction Flex-Seal Adaptor Couplings are manufactured to meet and exceed the stringent requirements of the drainage marketplace.
Adaptor Couplings provide a solution to many cases of adaptation. The coupling is a stepped moulded elastomeric sleeve that has different diameters at each end. The sleeve is fitted with two stainless steel clamping bands which provide an efficient method of connecting pipes that have varying outside diameters and also eradicates possible bush requirements.
Adaptor Couplings can also be used to connect all traditional and new pipe systems including structural walled plastic pipes.
A special range of Adaptor Couplings which incorporate an extra wide clamping band at one end are available for ribbed pipe systems. The clamping band secures against two or more external ribs on the plastic ribbed pipe thereby ensuring a high performance seal is obtained irrespective of the coupling position or movement.
Flex-Seal can also supply Adaptor Couplings with nitrile sleeves (See sheet 31).

Flex-Seal Products
Drain Couplings (50-275mm diameter) Drain Pipe Connection and Repair - Designed for drain construction where resistance to earth loads normally provided by Standard Couplings is not required Introduction Flex-Seal Drain Couplings are used to connect, repair and maintain drainage systems and other small diameter non-pressure pipelines.
Available to suit any pipe material up to 275mm outside diameter, Drain Couplings are designed for use in drainage systems where the resistance to earth loads (usually provided by a Standard Coupling) is not required.
Flex-Seal Drain Couplings comprise a moulded elastomeric sleeve which is attached using medium duty stainless steel clamping bands at either end.
Flex-Seal can also supply Drain Couplings with nitrile sleeves (See sheet 31).

Fernco Straight and Adaptor Couplings (23-500mm diameter) Plumbing Range - Used for the emergency repair or replacement of drain, waste and vent fittings for all pipe materials Introduction Fernco Adaptor Couplings are available in a variety of sizes ranging from 32mm to 457mm in diameter and are ideal for connecting pipes with differing outside diameters whether due to different pipe materials or pipe sizes.
Fernco Straight Couplings are available in an array of sizes ranging from 23mm to 500mm in diameter and provide an effective solution for jointing pipes with similar outside diameters and are ideal for any emergency repairs whatever the pipe size or material.
Made from a durable Thermoplastic compound, Fernco’s Adaptor and Straight Couplings have the dimensional flexibility that ensures a leakproof seal on many pipe materials including plastic, cast iron, asbestos cement, clay, concrete, steel and fibreglass. End clamps are provided as standard in corrosion resistant grade 1.4301 (304) stainless steel. 1.4401 (316) stainless steel end clamps are available upon request.

Flex-Seal Products
Standard Couplings (100-620mm diameter) Drain and Sewer Pipe Connection and Repair - Designed for sewerage, drainage and low pressure applications up to 1 bar Introduction Flex-Seal provide the most extensive range of Standard Couplings available in the marketplace and have revolutionised traditional pipe repair methods over the years.
Flex-Seal Standard Couplings are specifically designed to connect and repair pipelines of different materials or sizes used in sewerage, drainage and other underground applications.
When excavation work is required to repair a damaged pipe, Flex-Seal Standard Couplings will reduce the amount of time required and minor differences in pipe diameter can be accommodated. Larger diameter differences are installed using a suitably sized bush.
The combination of a durable design and excellent sealing properties enables the Flex-Seal Standard Coupling to provide a reliable seal on rough pipe surfaces e.g. concrete, and a high performance seal on smooth surfaces e.g. PVCu.
Standard Couplings can be combined with Flex-Seal Bushes in order to act as an adaptor between pipelines of widely differing outside diameters. A Bush will be required by the contractor when connecting pipes of different materials or sizes i.e. when outside diameters of the joints exceeds 12mm.
Flex-Seal can also supply Standard Couplings with nitrile sleeves (See sheet 31).
