Mare Performance Test
is an invaluable aid to assess the rideability of mares and
whether their talent lies in jumping or dressage. The results of the test provide key evidence so informed breeding decisions can be made and the very best mares can be bestowed the honor of Hanoverian Premium Mare status. The AHS has seen a significant rise in the number of mares completing the MPT in recent years. Most sites now offer the MPT and in 2020 a total of 37 mares participated with 24 Hanoverian Premium Mare Candidates. determine
