YOU DON’T PROFIT FROM SICK EMPLOYEES. WHY DOES YOUR HEALTH PROVIDER? In an industry built on fee-for-service care, Kaiser Permanente succeeds because we’re built around prevention and the highest quality care. One Harvard Business Review article described our care as “untainted by any economic conflict of interest.”* And in an industry report by The Economist, Kaiser Permanente’s care was described as promoting economy and quality care with “no financial motive to order unnecessary procedures.”† To learn more about Kaiser Permanente, call 1-800-464-4000 or visit kp.org/choosebetter.

GREETINGS STOCKTON and NAMASTE’ People often ask me “What is a Stocktonian?” I am! Stockton has been home most of my life. As a second-generation Stockton native, I attended Lincoln High School and San Joaquin Delta College. My mother was also born in Stockton after my grandparents decided this would be a great place to start a family. I’ve raised three kids here, and I own several businesses, worked for other companies and have been a volunteer member of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce for many years. To say I am excited to be the new Membership Director would be putting it mildly. This is a new adventure for me, but one that feels like a fantastic fit with a great team of people to work with. I LOVE the Stockton community and know firsthand how Chamber membership is key to business success through networking and making lifelong connections. In addition to the behind the scenes advocacy it provides, the Chamber also protects our business interests and our lifestyle,

The Stockton Chamber is also known for innovation and providing tremendous support to its members. It is my hope that my time here at the Chamber will be of tremendous benefit to our Chamber members and our community. If there’s anything I can do to be of help to you, whether it’s a ribbon cutting, volunteer and networking opportunities, or you need some assistance in taking advantage of the many programs that can help your business thrive in Stockton, don’t hesitate to give me a call at 209.337.2723.

Operation Clerk by day. “River Rat” by night. Lacy Edwards manages the business for our M-580 Barge Container Service on the Delta. The same Delta where she wakesurfs and wakeboards. The Port is the second busiest inland port on the west coast. But for Stocktonians like Lacy, this area will always be #1.
