meaningful to have my mother Jo Pratt and mother-in-law Helen Vigil in attendance along with my husband Donovan, our four children, spouses, granddaughters, sisters, brothers–twenty-four in all! God and family are my strength. My training ground for teamwork and leadership was through Job’s Daughters. I chose the theme “No Man is an Island” for my installation as Honored Queen of Bethel #83. Perhaps an odd theme for a teenage girl to choose, but early on it became clear to me that without the choir, messengers, chaplain, and line, the Bethel would not reach its full potential. The choir was entry level, so to speak, but what would our meeting be without their voices? Your Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce is comprised of teams and individuals committed to fulfilling our mission to aggressively develop and promote an economically vibrant business community. The Board of Directors lead committees on government, workforce development, education, and employee health to bring you the resources to run your business more effectively. Volunteers serve on the Liaison Committee and Welcome Squad to embellish the work of our dedicated and capable staff. Noteworthy is the support our area nonprofits receive as we recognize the contribution nonprofits add to our local economy and well-being of our community. Your membership is valued–you are partners and a collective voice in a shared goal to create a thriving business community. It is an honor and privilege to serve as your President. Valley Oak Dental Group
hat inspired the founding of Valley Oak Dental Group?
Valley Oak Dental Group was established in 1979 by a group of dentists dedicated to providing exceptional service and care to residents of Manteca, Stockton, Modesto, Lathrop, and surrounding areas. What has made Valley Oak Dental Group successful? Our doctors, hygienists, assistants, and support staff are passionate about dentistry and we believe that skills and compassion go hand-in-hand when providing exceptional patient care. Our dental professionals stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for our patients. Our doctors recognize that our patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in our team. That is just one reason why we value each and every patient relationship.
VALLEY OAK DENTAL GROUP
What is the greatest challenge Valley Oak Dental Group has faced, and how did you overcome it? We have faced various challenges throughout our history, but we remain committed to our mission and our patients. What do you enjoy about doing business locally? Most of our doctors and employees live in the community they serve and it is truly rewarding to be able to connect with people outside the office. Our patients recognize us wherever we go and that helps us build our relationships even stronger. We also enjoy participating in local events and supporting local charities and causes.
What does the future hold for Valley Oak Dental Group? The future is bright! We are finishing our extensive office remodel and would like our patients to come and see all the improvements that we have made. We also have recently welcomed a new associate to our general practice, Dr. Sharon Manaois. Next month we will have a new Pediatric Dentist join our practice, Dr. Ami Maru. We are so excited to have both of these new doctors in our practice and can’t wait to see all the new patients that will be enjoying their services.
