FEES & FINANCE You will find all of our course fees listed beside the relevant programme. Depending on your circumstances we may be able to offer your course at a discounted fee or in some cases free, or you may be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan (see below for details).

Many of our higher education courses are delivered in partnership with Teesside University. At Stockton Riverside College we also offer a range of full-time and part-time higher education programmes.

If you’re planning to study a Level 3-6 Further Education course or Access to HE course you may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan. Students will be able to apply for a loan to meet the upfront costs of their qualification, which will be paid directly to the college on their behalf. This is a great way to access courses that previously, for financial reasons, may have been out of your reach. Things you need to know: • You need to be a UK resident and aged over 19 • Advanced Learner Loans are not means tested or credit checked • Funds are paid directly to the learning provider • Minimum amount £300 (maximum depends upon course chosen) • You must enrol on an eligible course • Bursaries may be available for extra support for childcare* • Applications can be made from April, online with Student Loans Company for courses starting in September • Repayments only start when earning £21k or more. Example: when earning £22,000 repayment will be £7 per month.
