Description This qualification is for learners who want to work as a massage therapist in either a Complementary Therapy setting or within the Spa or Beauty Therapy Industry. It comprises of four mandatory units: • Consultation techniques • Health, safety and hygiene • Body Massage techniques • Working practice requirements and client care Progression to other therapies.

This qualification is for Learners who want to work in the sport and fitness industry as a Sports Massage Therapist either in a sports club, gym or health club setting and is comprised of five core units which are mandatory. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about tattoo artists and different styles of tattoos as well as use temporary paint onto skin.

Description This is intended for anyone whose role involves carrying out a broad range of administrative activities, requiring a limited amount of supervision and working with some autonomy. The individual will be working as part of a team ensuring the provision of information and resources to others. The individual’s work situation will provide the opportunity to be involved in a range of administration activities. This is a competence based qualification aimed at those people employed and carrying out a wide range of complex tasks suited to the qualification and who already have experience of office-based skills and are preparing for a line management role. This qualification helps you to develop the knowledge and practical skills required to professionally carry out periodic inspection and testing on Electrical Installations.

Description Within the college this level 2 qualification is highly regarded as an excellent stepping stone for those wanting to enter the Access to Higher Education route into university. The Level 2 Qualification in skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development is also labelled as Pre-Access due to its success rate in helping those who have struggled with the initial Maths and English screening tests for their desired Access choices. A fantastic way to develop your skills before enrolling in a further vocational course. This qualification provides an entry point and introduction for those new to teaching and training or wishing to teach or train. It’s the qualification for those seeking a ‘stepping stone’ to qualifications that entitle them to teach in the sector in either an ‘Associate Teacher’ or ‘Full Teacher’ role.
