JOSH What will you be? DARREN You choose - we’ll get you there.

Apprenticeships Choosing Motor Vehicle Studies has helped put Josh on the road to his future career. The course gave him the skills to be able to secure an apprenticeship with Norton MOT testing and car repair centre, Autoscan. “It feels like I am doing well and really progressing,” said Josh. “An apprenticeship gives you lots of experience.”

Apprenticeships PD Ports clearly saw a spark in Darren, for they snapped him up as an apprentice. To get the skills he needed for the job he was tasked with completing both his Level 1 and 2 in Joinery. “Knowing I had an apprenticeship really gave me the drive to achieve,” he said. “I have always been academically smart but I have to really like a subject to get that same drive.”

Childcare Choosing to study Childcare at Stockton Riverside College proved the right move for Harriet. It helped her secure four university offers. GRADING THE NEW GCSEs IN 2017 What will you be? You choose - we’ll get you there.

English & Maths

These are key skills that all employers value and that is why at Stockton Riverside College we want to help you make the grade.

For students under 19 it is now a Government mandate that they keep working towards these core GCSEs if they haven’t already achieved grade A*-C/9-4.

That is why we believe it is part of our job to help make sure all of our students have a good grasp of the basics and the qualifications to match.

They may be the skills that we all take for granted, but believe it or not we use English and Maths every day, often without even thinking about it.
