Finally we have made it to 2022!
I have taken the opportunity to look back over my thoughts last year and consider the events of 2021, frankly “remarkable” is one of the only words that works. Another year of COVID and as things stand we continue to live with this pandemic. In some ways schools are in the eye of this particular storm, pupils must continue to be educated, schools are by far the best place for this to happen and to provide the broad and balanced pupil experience that they all deserve we must navigate the path between keeping all safe and effectively teaching young people. normal to the pupils. Clubs are running, we have undertaken sporting events against other schools, taken the children on trips and have had visitors into school. All these activities have required additional planning and risk assessments and commitment from staff. We are so fortunate to have a body of staff who recognise the importance of what we do and work to ensure that everything possible is done to provide that rich experience for our pupils. We will do the same next year and manage whatever comes our way to support our pupils and families.
No doubt it will be another exciting year and from all at PBA we would like to wish you a fantastic new year and I look forward to seeing many of you in January when the new year starts.
